    Evening all,

My visitors finally arrived, they had been up for over 42 hours so are now fast asleep, both looking well, hopefully after a full night's sleep they will look even better to-morrow! Dinner went down very well, I should have taken note of spices I put in shepherd's pie as it tasted particularly well...better yet I have enough left to freeze for a normal sized family dinner.

Tinkerbell, I feel for you, I wasn't always sure that I would end up living where my great great grandfather was born, but am lucky enough to do so. As someone said, you have the happy memories of your childhood...I never knew a grandparent as they were all dead before I was born.

Hester, surely there is some labour law against this kind of thing? Not very well up on law, but someone must know what can be done.

    Night all, sleep well,

    Marie

    Hi!
Not much os today as I've been to w***. I'm still feeling a little low regarding decisions made at school, in other words money comes first and not the children's needs! I've been teaching for 14 years in the same school and this is the first time I've felt this low. I love the kids but I'm sick of ideas and decisions being made by people who either don't teach or can't. Anyway I went out and bought some lucky dips for Saturday's lottery!:rotfl:
catznine I'm so jealous! I love the Disney firework shows and have so many happy memories of them. Have a great time.

Thanks for all the hugs today, means a lot, had my cbt again today, explained how down i have been feeling and dh hasnt helped matters so he has to come for the next appointment for an informal chat, as i dont feel he is supporting me enough.

Dont think he is pleased about it but has agreed to go, so i hope he will have a better understanding about the whole thing.

Anyway, have done loads of comps tonight, lot of postcard entries, just as well i have 200 postcards then:rotfl:

    Hugs

kyle, I'm glad to hear you sounding a bit better tonight. Hugs.
Catznine, You sound like you're having a fabulous time!
Jamie, I hope your dd gets a good nights sleep and feels better tomorrow.

I had a quiet day. Pottered in the garden in the morning, did a quick sweep of the house, went to homestart this afternoon and finally had that meal out that we've been talking about all week. I haven't had a chance to read through the thread yet so off to read it properly now.

hi all, hugs to everyone who needs them.

i would usually be in bed at this time but dd has had a raging temp all afternoon and has just been sick bless her. ive changed all her bedding put it on to wash and settled her back down, she seems ok, babbling away to herself in the next room lol. i hate it when they are ill and theres not a lot you can do for them!

    Catzine - florida sounds wonderful!

A good and productive day today, went to the gym and then for a swim before work, feeling the pain this evening though lol

As im going to have little one off nursery tomorrow, plans will change, a morning at home doing housework and ironing methinks!:) I need to make up some more flapjacks but i might save that for saturday morning instead.

Going to check on dd again and then try and grab some sleep i think!
