You're doing so well.
Hopefully this is the low they've been talking about and it's onwards and upwards from here.

Hello also dropping by with hugs.
I guess this is the low point of the treatment.
I hope that when you get to the hospital tomorrow Mr SA is getting better.

Thanks so much all of you
Mr SA still not well. Seems to be getting worse. No one appears to be worried though so suspect this is normal. However, last night a nurse said the doctors are saying he is getting ready for discharge as his immune system is up and running again. The ward is for transplants only so once he's deemed well enough in that respect they need to free up the bed. If you could see the state of him you wouldn't think he was well enough to go anywhere. He's doubly incontinent, sleeping all the time, not eating or drinking much and completely immobile. Can't believe it's set him back this much. They need to talk to me about home care apparently. Told them there is no question of me giving up work so they are looking into rehab or care plan. I'm a bit shell shocked actually as the last ward he was on they were scared stiff to let him out while he was at risk of falling. But I can understand that now he's had his transplant and his immune system is up and running again he can't stay where he is.
What time is the next plane outa here!!!
Some good news - the heating is fixed - shame I had to switch it straight back off again as the weather was so warm this weekend.
Gardeners should have started work today so looking forward to being able to see daylight once again.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
That is such tough news.
Is it feasible for him to return home while he's still so unwell?
Is the expectation that'll you'll give up work to be his FT carer?
I wish there was something more practical I could do to help:(:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
Can he not be transferred elsewhere in the hospital?
Sorry you have hit yet another hurdle. I too wish I could be of more help.
Heaps more virtual hugs Xx
PS, if you find out what time that plane is, let me know and I'll meet you at the airport :rotfl: XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Another one for the plane here.
That is just so not on.
He cannot come out well so unwell so needs to go another ward.
Just keep insisting on it.
This is so unacceptable.
