Thanks all!
Not a lot to report - Mr SA still ok - he's not hit the expected low point yet, should be this weekend.
Unusually I have nothing to put in my VSP this week. I made the extra payment to finish off Barclaycard earlier this week so that's sorted. Minimum payment has been taken off Halifax card so now owe £3360.10. Will start to chip away at this from next week onwards. Paid off what I owe on Tesco card.
Quite boring really!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

healthy wishes to you all xx0 -
Good luck to Mr SA for the next couple of days, hopefully things go smoothly for you both.
Was it good or bad news about your boiler, better to get it fixed now then in the depth of winter.

Thanks all
Mr SA still ok apart from a sore mouth. He's now on the predicted worst day - Day 6 - but up to now nothing else. His blood counts are still on the way down though so his worst day might be still to come. His doctor says 9 out of 10 people are ill around this point and get some sort of infection.
After my very eventful year so far I'm grateful for a bit of a boring diary!
British Gas couldn't fix the boiler as it's the electrics firing up the boiler at fault. Luckily we've got this covered by Homecare 400 so an electrician is coming out tomorrow morning. Hopefully they can get it fixed before Mr SA comes home. House is freezing at the moment!
I've worked out I should have cleared the Halifax card by the end of 2014. I think the 0% finishes in February 2015 but need to check on this just in case. If I can get it paid off before end 2014 all well and good. Need to pay off £210 per month starting this payday to achieve my target.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Good evening all
Three words - Totally Fed Up!!!
British Gas fixed the electrical problem. The bloke even set my timer for me. Even managed to get to work for the afternoon. Was looking forward to returning to nice warm house after hospital visit - perhaps even a nice soak in the bath? Ha ha ha! Walked into freezing cold house with no hot water. Pilot light is off on boiler and won't re-ignite. Can't get in touch with BG as their systems are down! Big sigh!!!
Mr SA not well tonight. He has sore throat and is aching. He had platelets drip.
Got home and dog had left a puddle in kitchen and pooped in bathroom. At least not on new carpet!
Our house is getting to the stage where we need to either spend some money on it or sell up and let someone else do it.
Not a good day!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
