Hi all
Mr SA still good tonight. Results of scan tomorrow according to him. Don't they drag it out! Talk about torture. Funny thing is they were quick enough when they broke the bad news 2 weeks ago - got the results the same day.
The party last night was great but it felt so surreal going out on my own although I was with friends when I got there. It did cross my mind will I have to get used to this.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Glad he has been feeling better and you enjoyed the party. I always take the tack of no news being good news but the wait is horrible. xx£10781.62 by 23/04/2014 :rudolf:

Hello all
Doctor says the results are back and the report is being typed up. He is optimistic that this report will reflect his thoughts that the chemo has worked. The next stage of treatment is to be discussed and it's likely more chemo will follow shortly. So maybe tomorrow we'll know more?
I must say Mr SA has been a pain today. He rang me 22 times starting at 4am!! Threatened to take his phone off him! He is bored as TV systems in hospital are down and he's got nothing to watch. Will be switching my phone off tonight!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
grrr I wish they 'd hurry up a bit, still optimism from a doctor is always welcome.
We are lucky to live here really.
too hot for deep discussions. Am very glad for you hon, although not about the 4 am phone call!

i got similar calls in the middle of the night when DH was confused and panicked. He thought he'd been in charge of DS1 and lost him

SA do you have a portable DVD player or laptop he could use. You could get people to record things he likes onto dvd from the television.
Or an iPad so he could watch I player or BBC catchup?Living the dream and retired in Cyprus :j
