Hi S.A.
Sorry I have been mia but I think I am finally getting on top of the bug I've had.
I so admire your patience and sense of the absurd. So many of the challenges you face are so hard and on going. If i knew you in real life, I might want to have a word in your daughter's ear to encourage her to be more supportive.
I will PM you about meeting up for a coffee, or tea in my case. I am back to making lists to encourage me back to small steps. I feel like the proverbial wrung out tea towel.
I will keep my fingers crossed for your weigh in tomorrow.
Take care honey

Happy Saturday
Good to hear from you Pauline xx I'm a big lover of lists.
Lost half a pound at WW, was hoping for more but at least the half a pound I put on last week has gone.
Mr SA has made me so angry today. While I was at WW he went back to the workwear shop he bought the coat from yesterday and exchanged his coat for one more than twice the price and put the difference on the credit card. I went ballistic and told him he'd just spent the money I wanted to put towards the dining room. I wouldn't mind but the new coat isn't anywhere near as good as the other one, it's too short in the body for him for a start. I told him there's me shopping around all over and trying to stick to a budget, thought I was doing well and he'd ruined it.
In the end he gave me the £25 extra from his secret stash. At first I felt a bit guilty taking it, but he didn't need the coat and it's certainly not worth £45I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Well done on the WW a loss is a loss! I think it's much harder when you're so near your target.
Naughty MrSA .. Do NOT feel guilty. You have been working so hard to keep everything in budget etc x“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
YOu were quite right he gave you the money.

Thanks folks xx I was worried I was being mean taking it from him. This is just an example of how he's not on board, it's not a new thing, he's always been the same. It drives me nuts.
Made a fab quorn lasagne tonight, made 6 portions so will freeze the rest for future reference.
DD has finally cleared some of her stuff from the spare room/gym. Get the feeling she's just moved them into her room and not put them away though.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
