I don't think it's unreasonable at all to be bothered by that, and no, it's not just you. If someone I knew was in the same boat I'd make sure their OH and children had the support to do things for the person who does all of the work.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Thank you both for not thinking I’m just a horrible person

I'm going to be cheeky next year and give them a list to pick something from, they won't be expensive things, just stuff like bubble bath or a book I want to read.
Mr SA has been coughing all night so I've not had much sleep. Then he switched the TV on at 4.45 am! He's full of cold and his chest sounds really wheezy.
Weather is awful - cold, windy and raining. Hoprfully it'll clear up before I take the dog out. I need to pick a few bits up from the local shops today too. Can't believe the fridge is almost empty.
Today the plan is to tackle my dressing table drawers and chest of drawers.
All this decluttering has revealed what I already knew - I'm obsessed with books, magazines, notepads and toiletries/cosmetics.
Have a good day folks.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
The lists a good plan, I issue a universal bath stuff request because I like variety.
I hoard books, and skincare. No matter how much of a bargain it is, or what nice samples come with it, I do not need to buy any more.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Morning SA,
Hope the weather improves for you and the dog today.
I reckon a pick list for pressies is a good one.
Ps. re the santas I thought he had been pulling the crackers not actually taking them out of their pockets !! xxMummytogirls x0 -
Mr SA is still in bed and not had anything to eat. He's happily watching the Blaze channel with me running after him making him drinks.
I'm halfway through the drawers clear out just having a break for lunch. Ordered some plastic drawers on wheels and some storage boxes from Argos as I'm tackling the cupboard under the stairs tomorrow. They're coming this afternoon.
Got soaked this morning taking the dog out and then at the shops. It's been snowing but the ground is so wet it's not settling.
Just a bit more decluttering to do before I take the dog out again, then I'm going to watch the episode of Corrie I missed because I fell asleep. Honestly any TV programme that starts at 9pm is too late for me :rotfl:I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Storage stuff arrived so all ready for tomorrow's clear out.
Mr SA emerged for a sausage sandwich then went back to bed. He didn't even want a beer which is very unlike him.
So I'm sat on my own tonight - apart from the dog - you're never alone with a dogOn the plus side I'm in charge of the remote control
