Ditto what Satchmo said about your SIL. It will have been a very emotionally draining day for her, and for what it's worth you probably did the right thing for both of you by suggesting she went home.
Hugs for you and rubs behind the ear for doggie XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Sun.A, so sorry to hear today's bad news; can do no more than echo Amber's words and offer (((((hugs))))) while remembering that the doctors wouldn't suggest HD chemo if they didn't think it has a good chance of working for MrSA.
Cuddle dog, drink vino, try not to think too much..

Thanks you for all your kind words
Drank a whole bottle of wine last night - sat up until gone midnight. Feel a bit rough this morning so probably not a good idea. At least I slept though. Have huge pile of ironing so will do it before it gets too hot. Beautiful day already. Taking dog out later. Need to let Mr SA's brother know the latest as couldn't get in touch with him last night. Will spend the day in the sunshine before my daily visit to hospital. This latest batch of chemo takes 4 days to administer then approx 3 weeks recovery. Then I expect there will be another scan. Fingers crossed.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Sun...so so sorry to read your news and see there is another mountain to climb. Sending you lots of positive thoughts and energy..
Ironing can be very soothing!!! ( so I hear;)..just make sure you don't do too much!) enjoy the sun as I think some warmth on your skin will make you feel a bit more able to take on the world...
Hope visit today is OK and keep in touch and posting.

Thanks all
I've had a very bad day today. Think I've been crying most of day. Sat in garden trying to read and relax but just kept thinking. Can't bear the thought of losing him. Got to hospital and broke down there too. He was asleep all the time I was there although he said ouch when doctor took blood. I just want him back to normal. Can't cope with this - sinking fast - feel so depressed and sick.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
It's only natural to feel that way, you are having such a tough time. It's frightening, frustrating and downright unfair. You need to let it all out and you will hopefully feel better for it.
Don't try to be too strong. Let others help and comfort you.
And get a sick note and have some time to yourself!!
Huge hugs XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
