SA, prayers for you and dear Mr SA. Glad you've got lovely dog to cuddle up to you, and a couple of glasses of wine are well deserved. Aggressive chemo will make poor Mr SA feel even more poorly, but may bring about good results. A friend's husband had chemo overload which did beat his testicular cancer, even though it had him screaming with pain from chemo burn. (I hope you don't mind me telling you that - he is now cancer free, so he found it worth it).
Hugs, and prayers, for you. xxWhat would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
I'm so very very sorry your news was not more positive, but I agree you shouldn't give up hope yet.
Enjoy your time out in front of the tv, and give yourself time to digest the news and perhaps formulate a plan of action.

I'm shocked reading your news, I can't imagine how shocked you must have been hearing that news.
I have all my fingers and toes for you both. xx x x0 -
Sorry Lucky we must have crossed posts as we always seem to! Thanks to you too. Glad you have some good news on your post - it makes a welcome change to hear good news. Weird thing is that Mr SA's sister has become a granny this morning and she came from seeing new baby to this bad news. I think she has taken it so badly as Mr SA is her little brother who she dotes on.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Exactly SA, chemo is awful but it is better than cancer.
You keep going honey, dogs are an absolute Godsend on nights like these. They mean you are never alone.
I can't find anything to watch on tv. what ever that song was - 57 channels and nothing on. They were not wrong.

"Mr SA's sister has become a granny this morning and she came from seeing new baby to this bad news"
It's unsurprising that she was tearful, new babies bring joyful tears, and will mean that Mr SA's sister was emotionally unguarded (i.e. we all have a layer to protect us from the daily bombardment)
More hugs, Satchmo xxWhat would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0
