Managed to walk down the stairs this morning instead of shuffle on my bum and walked unaided by crutches quite a bit today.
However, when I took my tubigrip off my ankle was ok but the swelling had shifted into my calf. So I've got a massive calf and thin ankle
Got my leg up with ice pack at the moment. Don't think I'll bother with the tubigrip tomorrow.
Mr SA has decided totally out of the blue that he wants to sell his gold bracelet that he hasn't worn for years. I tried to persuade him at the time I sold my old gold and he refused. He wants to buy himself a watch. I weighed it and he should get £225 for it. So although it's not even been sent off yet he's already found a watch online and is hassling me to death to order it. This is the third thing this week he's hassled me to order, even ringing me at work to order him a new bag (he had a new bag just a few weeks ago!!). Starting to think I made a big mistake buying him a Kindle Fire for Christmas. He's spending all day looking for stuff he needs online.
Spends today just on taxis.
I don't think it will be an AFD, I feel the need for a large glass of wine!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Swelling back with a vengeance tonight. Looks awful. Struggled walking today, ankle really stiff, think I did too much yesterday. Just sitting down with leg up again, Mr SA has just come in to show me yet another watch! Told him he should be ashamed of himself, hassling me about watches, pointed to my leg, showed him how swollen it is. On top of all this I'm cooking the dinner while he sits with his feet up with a beer looking for watches! Grr - rant over.
Spends today on taxis £12.60. Got my taxi fares for the last two weeks back in bank from work today thankfully.
Looking forward to sitting on the sofa with a couple of glasses of wine, watching TV with my feet up later on. No doubt I'll fall asleep after the first glass!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

I can't even imagine how frustrating this is for you, you seem like such an active person and to be 'punished' by your body for overdoing it must be a bizarre feeling for you.
