Elevated my leg quite a bit in between doing the cleaning. Didn't really make that much difference to the swelling. DS and family visited in the afternoon but only stayed for just over an hour as the baby was screaming most of the time and wouldn't settle. To be honest I was glad they didn't stay that long as I was in quite a bit of pain yesterday and just wanted to rest with my feet up in the afternoon.

Mr SA was still hassling about the watch :( He bought me some flowers which he seems to think makes up for him being totally useless around the house and not helping me.

I'm having a pottering about day today, trying to get some little jobs done in between putting my feet up. So far I've done the finances, prepared my fruit for work snacks and done the meal plan. Still need to do the ironing, make my soup for work lunches, and get my clothes out for the week ahead to save time in the mornings.

Only got a 4 day week at work as taking Wednesday off to take Mr SA for his brain scan.

Can't believe it's still more than 2 weeks to payday :(

Hope everyone is having a good weekend, we haven't had any of the predicted snow here just rain.

Got most of the stuff I wanted to done today. Made enough portions of butternut squash, kale and coriander soup to last all week for work lunches, chopped up the remaining squash into chips for tomorrow and made a quorn lasagne using butternut squash lasagne sheets (from Mr S). I love butternut squash by the way :) Lasagne was quite nice actually and have put 3 portions in freezer for another day. Mr SA had steak.

NSD today, despite Mr SA still chipping away re the watch.

Just relaxing with a glass of wine before a early night ready for another week.

Me too! I'm a big veggie fan... I've had to cut off my organic veg box deliveries for the time being, until I get a bit more sorted financially, but I miss them!

Still in agony, painkillers don't touch it. Only relief is a hot bath or ice pack. Getting fed up of it to be honest. Had to wear slippers at work as trainers digging into ankle making it sore. Flight socks arrived yesterday, they've helped slightly. Ordered a wheat bag from eBay, it might help.

Mr SA's brain scan tomorrow :(

Mr SA's scan done. Took ages, he was dizzy afterwards and had to be helped out by a nurse. I was in the waiting room in agony with my ankle. What a pair! Cost us £22 in taxis plus £10 in Costa so not a cheap trip.

Phoned GP today to see if I can get some stronger painkillers, no appointments today, have to ring back in the morning. Don't think I can put up with pain much longer, nearly as bad as the day I broke it :(

Mr M delivery today £39.40, used £5 voucher.

Blimey that does not sound good about your ankle.
Hope you get an appointment tomorrow.
    What painkillers are you on?
