You sounded like you had a really good time today and have a lovely weekend with the family.
Mr SA sounds a bit jealous when you go out without him. I know you mentioned that he has always been reclusive but is there no male friends that would take him out for a bit, say down the pub for a few hours ? He doesn't have to drink any alcohol but perhaps the male company might do him good. Hope all goes well with the scan. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Very quick update - unbelievably Mr SA ran me over with his scooter yesterday. I'm in hospital waiting for an op to repair my badly dislocated and fractured ankle. You couldn't make it up!!!!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

OMG poor you, I hope that you get into surgery soon, I also hope that this will not make your life as difficult as I remember from when I broke my ankle, at least I had a fully functioning OH to take the strain (no disrespect meant, but I realise how limited his input is now).
