Can't believe I forgot to update re DS and the house front. Turns out there is a joint owner of his house who the woman who runs the letting agency owes money to for the mortgage (thousands apparently). Mortgage is in his name and is up to date. Anyway this bloke has taken over now and has assured DS he has no worries. Sorted hopefully.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

He's always been the same Lucky, even when he was well. I used to call him anti social. He never wanted to go to any parties, weddings, other people's houses, etc. Got fed up of making excuses to people. And he wonders why no one contacts him now. Thanks all. I have unearthed some more gold I no longer wear/like. 26g is showing as almost £300 on Hatton Garden Metals. Very tempted to do as it's just sitting in my jewellery box. Still not touched the other gold money, don't want to fritter it away.
This week has been manic at work so far. Exercise wise I went to the gym for a run Monday and circuits today. Didn't go to Zumba yesterday as went to Debenhams hoping to get a pair of boots in 50% off one day only and couldn't find any! So annoying when you need something and have the money you can't find it! Would really like a pair of comfortable, mid heel tan knee high boots which don't seem to exist unless you pay over £100.
So far this week have had no AFDs and no NSDs so not doing very well. Think I'm in Christmas mode too early.
Mr SA still full of cold and still chesty. Had to laugh yesterday morning when he woke up the first thing he asked was if Honey G was still in the X Factor?????? What a thing to think of first thing in the morning!!!
Cousin's 70th today and haven't heard from her re flowers so am assuming they've not arrived. This is the second time I've used this online florist (Lovely Floraworld) and the second time the flowers have arrived later than requested. The only reason I used them this time was that the first time I ordered them although they were late the flowers were beautiful and well worth the wait (and I did order them at the last minute). This time I ordered them in what I consider to be plenty of time. Won't use them again unless it's just that she hasn't got round to contacting me yet.
This week is a week all the monies come in - Mr SA's PIP, ESA and DD's board. Then I get paid a week today. So for a short time only bank account looks healthy (ish)
Work tomorrow then off for 4 daysI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Sell the gold.
No point in keeping it.
Boo to flowers.

The flowers arrived the next day and cousin was thrilled with them.
Had a fab day today with friends despite Mr SA phoning me twice to inform me he'd had 2 falls, his back hurt and he was coughing! Talk about having to wear a hair shirt when I got home. He proceeded to tell me what a horrible day he'd had while I was out enjoying myself.
Still up early so had a lovely coffee first thing then a look round Black Friday sales. Bought handbag and two tops. Then got on train to meet friends. Had a lovely time. Quick look at our lovely Christmas market in town before going home. Then back to reality.
Tomorrow I've got hairdressers, can't remember what time, will have to ring them. Sunday going to Christmas Fayre with DS and family, taking DGD to see Santa. Then off work Monday, Mr SA has brain scan in the afternoon but plan to take him round Christmas market beforehand to take his mind off it. So will be a very spendy few days.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
