Woo hoo lost 1.5lb at WW this week
Target for March is 5lb off so this has started it off nicely.
I think my old cat is on his last legs. He had a funny turn last night and we thought he was dying. That said he's been fine today, eating well and up and about again. If he makes until May he'll be 21.
DS had to take GD to hospital last night as she was so poorly. She's got a chest infection but she's a lot better today thankfully.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Great loss.

Happy Friday
Met some friends for lunch today - old school friends. We had a lovely afternoon catching up. I always feel a bit down after my lunches with friends, Mr SA makes me wear a hair shirt for a bit afterwards. I ignore him of course but he still manages to put a bit of a dampener on it. Next Friday I'm going out for lunch again with some different friends and really looking forward to it but this time it involves a train journey which he's not happy about for some reason. I'm still going though.
The old cat is still going strong with no sign of the other day's shenanigans. Really weird what happened.
DGD is getting better but they're not coming this weekend. DS has posted my Mother's Day card but he says he'll bring my prezzie next week (which will be a bottle of wine - this is what he's bought me every year for Mother's Day since he was old enough to buy alcohol!!!). DD always gets me a bouquet of flowers from Morrisons (where she works) with signs of a reduced sticker peeled off! They are both so predictable!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Laughing at the predictability of your kids SA. Im glad they've got your money sense.. especially DD :rotfl:
Re your day out, you make sure you enjoy yourself and don't let Mr SA put a dampner on it. I always notice my DH gets a bit narky when I go out, its not my fault I make plans and he doesnt is it!!! xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hello all
As predicted got flowers today from DD, although no reduced sticker! She works on Sundays and I usually have to wait for my flowers until she gets home - hence the reduced sticker. She must be feeling flush this year. As DGD isn't very well I'll have to wait until next weekend for my wine from DS - he posted my card though.
Mr SA is coming down with the cough/cold I had last week I think. He's just had a lemsip and gone back to bed. Loads of people at work have had it. I'm still coughing from time to time, it takes some shaking off. Funnily enough I mentioned maybe us finishing off the wallpaper stripping todayGuess I'll be doing it on my own!
Hope all you mums out there are having a nice dayI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
