Hello all, can't believe it's Monday already. Have had an extremely spendy weekend. Mainly stuff for the living room and all budgeted for. Also started Christmas present shopping. Managed to get some good deals and went through Top Cashback whenever I could. Mr SA might as well set up a deckchair by the front door to wait for all the deliveries.
Mr SA not been too good at the weekend, mainly getting himself worked up about the scan tomorrow. All he seems to have done is mope about feeling sorry for himself. I wish he'd try and do something to keep his mind occupied but his concentration span disappeared when he had the brain bleed. Unbelievably he has become hooked on StrictlyThe old him would have never watched it in a month of Sundays!

Thank you all so much
His scan went well tonight, we'll hear something in the next couple of days if anything is wrong, if we don't then it's good news, we can phone or wait until 4 January when he sees the consultant.
I am so shattered! I wish the carer could've taken him tonight. I was awake half the night with Mr SA snoring at a million decibels. Was torn between letting him carry on as at least it meant he was asleep and not worrying or booting him up the backside for torturing me! Then the dog woke me up at 3.30am and I never got back to sleep from then. I was sat at my desk at 06.55!!!!
Some of the deliveries came today. The Living Social Italian wine and stuff was a brilliant bargain, well worth £59 - 12 bottles of wine, olive oil, pesto, pasta, rice, balsamic vinegar, bowls and plates. Had to open one of the wine bottles to sample in case it was offGD's toy shop for Xmas and the paint.
Buffy I cannot teach you anything about budgeting I'm afraid. I can't resist a bargain.
At the scan centre there was a woman going in just before Mr SA. She very obviously had cancer, she was bald and looked terrible - my heart went out to her.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Fingers crossed for the scan results. Completely agree re testing the wine, I mean, it could've been poisoned or anything
