Good to hear. Perhaps you'll get a decorated room before Xmas and maybe they will sort out your contract too. As far as I can tell, they would only be enshrining what is yours under law anyway. 15 years...:o you gain redundancy etc rights after 2 from memory.
Sorry to hear your kids aren't that supportive, particularly given the situation with Mr SA.
I wouldn't rule out moving and spending....why not?
Have a good rest of week. Am also a fan of A@di but rarely get there now as too tight to drive there. But it's a great institution..MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

I know Beanie. If I didn't like my job so much and if I didn't think it was worth hanging fire I would be looking for something else.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Heap big hurrays to big Chief on the case!
Is (was?) your OH a good decorator? When he gets an idea for a project, he does seem to crack on at a fast pace. Maybe he will freshen each room up?What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -

Satchmo he used to be a fairly good decorator but sadly has lost the knack, hence going back to painted walls.
Hello all, some good news in that 1. Got a cheque for £322.30 for mis sold card protection (AI scheme)2. One of the people I PA to at work bought me a bottle of champagne
and 3. Inspired by the 2 days 5:2, 3 days WW and 2 days free range have lost 2lbs this week
and didn't starve to death!
Bad news is Mr SA hasn't been very good the last couple of days mobility wise and he's been very confused too
On the decorating front living room coming on ok, slowly but surely. Have seen a lovely sofa in DFS and am tempted by the 4 years interest free credit. Would like a 3 seater leather sofa plus a chair for Mr SA. Would like a fabric sofa but leather easier to clean bearing in mind cats and dog (and Mr SA spilling drinks!!).I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Hey up SA, hope Mr SA is better today and your Sunday is going well XXNevertheless she persisted.0

Mr SA still a bit off today, mainly tired and lethargic. Yesterday we went in town and he was a liability stumbling all over and having to sit down every five minutes. I was in one of those moods where I wanted to mooch around, looking for ideas for the house and looking at Christmas stuff but unfortunately not possible with him.
Have been spending - Living Social deal, some of you might have seen it, £59 for 12 bottles of wine, 6 Italian antipasti things and some bowls and plates. Also got some lovely curtains in the M&S online sale reduced to £55, I had a 20% off code, code for £5 worth of points and a £3 reward voucher so got them for £41Last but not least I got the DFS sofa and an armchair on 4 years interest free credit, did it over the phone, should be here in 5 weeks. Got a list of things still to get to finish living room off: rug, cushions, throw, paint and curtain pole, should be able to buy that lot from this month's pay.
Back on the 5:2 tomorrow and Thursday - best days for me as Mondays I'm always quite motivated (for one day only!) and Thursday I just keep thinking it's Friday the next day. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday are WW days and Saturday and Sunday have what I want within reason.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
