Thanks Lucky, she'd been ill for a while, was having chemo when Mr SA was in hospital. Still a shock though.
On a lighter note, was given £20 Love to Shop vouchers today at work for helping out with a visit from the senior leaders last week. So add this to my £40 bonus ball winnings and I think I may have my winter coat cost more or less covered
Poor DS had his second driving test yesterday, got himself all worked up about it, turned up for his test and the examiner had phoned in sick!!! So no test. They've rescheduled it for next week so fingers crossed for him.
Not very diet friendly but we had a payday treat of Pizza Hut pizza tonight. I can take it or leave it but Mr SA loves it so I have to indulge him now and again. I had an Italian vegetarian with light cheese and there's loads left over gone in the freezer. Mr SA however has eaten most of a large deep pan margerita all to himself!! I must say I was quite disappointed with mine as it was barely warm
Feel a bit sore from my FitStar session yesterday so can't be as ineffective as I thought!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Happy Saturday all
DS after complaining has got a retest next week. Pizza Hut have sent me a £10 off my next order voucher so will make use of this next payday.
DS and family came to see us today. GD is walking now and is into everything. She has quite a temper on her, when I took some coasters from her she threw her dummy on the floor. That's the redhead in her. We went to a new B&M store that's opened locally. It's huge. Weird thing is that DS and GF and Mr SA and I shopped separately and we spent £21 apiece. Mr SA cadged a pair of tiger feet slippers (!!!!!!). He would never had worn these in his previous incarnation. Weird isn't it. We got some leaflets in the post today from Headway and I wish we'd seen these a couple of years ago as they are so helpful. Mr SA now has a card which he can show people saying he has a brain injury and to be patient. He's attached it to a lanyard he wears round his neck when he goes out. It was with the pack Headway sent. They've been brilliant and I wish we'd thought of contacting them before.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Forgot to add that I weighed myself this morning and I am exactly the same weight as I was before my holiday. Told you I'm good at maintaining! So still want to lose a stone.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Thanks all
Boiler is ok for now Buffy but will need replacing as soon as I can afford it. As for weight maintenance I'd rather lose a bit but better than gaining.
We've been in town today. Needed some trainers to walk to work in as have worn mine out. Got some for £19.99 from Sports Direct, kids ones, my feet are so small adult ones are too big. Of course arm SA ended up with some but they are ideal for him Velcro fastening and only £21.99. Plus I got my coat for only £39.99 from New Look so I'm happy got both mine for my winnings plus voucher.
You should ring Headway again Lucky, they were really helpful. You must've caught them on a bad day.
Got an eye test tomorrow morning before work, just a check up. Full on week coming up: eye test tomorrow, friend's funeral Tuesday, will appointment Wednesday (Groupon deal), note taking all day Thursday. I think Friday is a normal day!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
