Thank God you stopped him with the bin!

Thanks all - I'll try the oats DFW and I've got pure aloe Vera gel which is very soothing and the GP says is ok to use. In fact I've got some on my foot now which (can you believe) has mysteriously swollen up and is very painful. Goodness knows what's going off there.
I feel more relaxed today, Mr SA not so demanding, and I had a better night's sleep last night. At work I was in a meeting most of the day, a lot of which had absolutely nothing to do with me so I didn't have to concentrate too much.
Week 1 of grocery budget finishes today and I actually have £4.58 left. Woo hoo! Add this to the £2.58 left from last week makes £7.16 which will go towards debt. In fact I will round it up to £10 and draw out £10 less this week.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Foot has swollen up today but no longer painful. I cut my leg on the dishwasher door (don't ask!) Monday night and wonder if the swelling is a reaction to this. Felt quite ill earlier on but not too bad now after a warm bath.
Not too happy with work at the moment. They've set on a woman who has experience in similar work to me and I had to have a meeting with her today just to let her know what sort of job it is. To be honest we spent most of the time talking about holidays but it transpired that she has been asked by our manager to look after the people in my team. So what is happening with me? Since we got new managers they've done nothing but mess everyone about and making changes for changes sake. So feel unhappy tonight about work. I like the team I work for.
Have broken my vow not to drink wine in the week and have opened my weekend bottle as so fed up.
On the plus side I've paid £120 off Barclaycard and squared up the Tesco card so debt now looks like this:
Tesco card £0
Barclaycard £180
Halifax card £1765
Total £1945
So now back down to sub £2k again. And the main aim of the game is to keep the Tesco card at nil so happy about this.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
work sounds bloody annoying.
sorry to hear that. the most constructive thing I can say is stupid work.
without swearing.
And your foot............am intrigued by the dishwasher incident!
I shall wish you sleep and go rant on my diary, I also have stupid work.

Thanks all, still fed up with work. Feel very down and I shouldn't because Mr SA is in remission and 4 weeks today we'll be in Lanzarote. But I spend 8 hours or more a day at work and I need to be happy there. Started itching again today. Foot swelling has gone down. Buffy - I opened dishwasher door flat down to unload and walked into sharp corner, cutting my leg in the process. A careless accident.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
