Looking for the silver lining

Thanks ladies for your concern. I'm fine. I think a lot of it is I can't seem to get 5 minutes to come on here either at home or at work (during lunch of course
). So updates are rushed. There is always someone standing behind me!!! Mr SA watching footie but still asking me what I'm doing. I have exciting plans for the weekend - emptying my very full washing basket and getting it dried and ironed - now don't get jealous!!! All this rain over the last few days has made it build up. I refuse to buy a tumble drier. Sent email to nPower Executive Complaints today as still not got final bill since I left them last year.

DD has bought the boxing match tonight so Mr SA engrossed. Did loads of washing today which dried so had loads of ironing. Exciting stuff eh. We went for coffee in town this morning and Mr SA ended up with yet another pair of slip on shoes - he is worse than any woman for shoes! He never used to be like this. Actually drew out cash so when money had gone that's it - determined to stick to budget. Weighed myself this morning and have lost nothing
despite being quite good. Need to start tracking again especially if a holiday is on the horizon. Mr SA very unsteady on his feet today. He tried to mow the lawn but only managed half before he had to sleep for 2 hours. He gets annoyed with himself. DS's tax rebate has gone in bank already - super quick to say I only filed online last Sunday. My fee is a bottle of wine.

Yawn I'm up and about earlier than usual thanks to dog crying to go out. Not worth going back to bed for 30 minutes so I'm up. Had unpleasant day with Mr SA yesterday. He was a pain to say the least. As he got his way on Saturday re trip into town I wanted my way yesterday with a day at home, planting up the patio tubs, catching up with the washing and ironing and relaxing in the sun. So Mr SA decided to phone his sister and ask her to take us to B&Q! For what I don't know. I made him ring her back and tell her not to come round. She must have sensed something was wrong so she still came round but wanted to take us and the dog to local country park. I refused to go, not in the mood, so she took Mr SA. To be honest it was lovely to have a break from him that didn't involve me being at work. I poured myself a glass of wine and sat with my feet up reading my book. Bliss!
All he wants to do is spend. I had a set budget for the week, not a stingy one either, and yesterday there was £10 left to last until Wednesday. Even with the next holiday, I have a budget, and he found one for £300 over. Kept badgering me to book it. I stood my ground and will wait for a couple of weeks and look for a last minute deal.
Now I feel rotten as this time last year I would've given anything for him to be a pain:(I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Don't feel rotten Hun, you are doing amazingly well to cope all on your own. It's like having a toddler to look after sometimes so I'm glad his sister 'babysat' to give you some peace. XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

No feeling bad SA, you are doing brilliantly. I sort of feel like other family members should rally round more? but not sure cos obviously I am not there.

Hello all! Mr SA has been better behaved just lately but then I've been at work. We'll see what happens at the weekend!
Still not paid anything else off debt but will do next week when Mr SA gets "paid". For now everything that's left that's spendable has been drawn out in cash and is in my purse. So no card purchases.
Paid some more oddments into my VSP and it now holds £188.75.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Hi there SA X
Brilliant news on the holiday
I need to pick you brains as I would love to lose 10 pounds (well 42 to be precise but will start somewhere!)
When you say Bikini boot camp what do you mean? what is your actual plan?

Bikini boot camp is just my phrase Buffy. Although buy Top Sante this month as it has got a brill 30 day bikini body thing. Tick off charts (which I love) to commit to 12 exercise days out of 30, 12 dry days, 10,000 steps a day and (rubbish bit) 8 fast days. Love the idea! You have to have a treat at the end for doing it.
Forgot to say I re-started my Zumba class on Tuesdays. Love it!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
