Hope it's all ok though. Hugs Xx

Really wanted a quiet low spend day today but Mr SA wanted to go into town. Supposed to be just having a coffee and quick look around which turned into him persuading me to buy him a coat from Gap sale which then turned into a quick pub drink which turned into lunch! So an expensive day but he enjoyed it and he's so thrilled with his new coat, almost childlike. He's had a better day today thankfully but he can't half spend!!!!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

'Almost childlike' is a very appropriate description! Mr Lucky reacts the same.

Mr SA had a bad day today. He has spent most of the day in bed. It seems after he was doing so well to start off with he's started going backwards. He was very tired again and he felt off. He's worried his lymphoma has come back (so am I to be honest). His mobility has got worse today too. Thankfully it's only a couple of weeks until his next scan. Tonight he is a little brighter but moaning about Top Gear being replaced by Lambing Live.
Can't believe it's Monday yet again tomorrow!! Where has the weekend gone? Didn't manage to get half the stuff I wanted to done. I wouldn't mind if I'd been sitting around with my feet up drinking coffee/wine but I've not had five minutes! At least I've sorted my work lunches for the week - courgette and mint soup - tastes much much nicer than it sounds!
This coming week I've got a lunch out with friends on Thursday and a dreaded mammogram (or boob squashing ordeal as I call it) on Friday. Although would take mammogram over smear any day!
Need to do loads to house - getting to the stage where we need to make a decision whether to move and let someone else do it up or get a home improvement loan. Reckon it would cost at least £30k - kitchen, bathroom, boiler, radiators, electrics, windows, doors. Desperately needs decorating as a short term fix. Ideally would prefer to move to a brand new house.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Just saying hi XX
hope Friday goes ok! boob squishing indeed.
And it goes without saying but am saying it any way that I hope with all my heart Mr SA has a way better day tomorrow and your fears are unfounded

Just popping by to say hello and that I really hope that Mr SA's health problems don't turn out to be what you are fearing.
Well done on making the soup - very healthy! I love homemade soup. My friend is enthusing about a soup maker she's bought and I am definitely going to invest in one (when I can justify it!)
Hope the mammogram goes ok and your boobs don't get too squished!
Hope you have a good week. Sending positive vibes your way!0 -
Hi Sun.A, :hello:
Just catching up; sorry to read of your concerns, but glad you and MrSA had a good day out (as Lucky said, sometimes you've just got to forget about the spends and enjoy what comes along).
If you're that worried, see if the GP or Consultant's clinic nurse can bring forward MrSA's next scan - won't help him being fearful for the next fortnight, if it can be avoided.
I've been waiting [pen and paper at the ready] for that advert to come on, even set the alarm for 1am a couple of times to try and catch the programme I think it accompanies.. No luck so far - despite waking up frequently during the night and putting on the telly for 'company', then usually drop off again soon after - but will keep trying.0
