Sun_Addict wrote: »Just thought I'd check in and share my good news with you all - Mr SA is still in remission his scan showed no signs of lymphoma. His consultant said he's very happy and to be honest it's a miracle he's still here given the type lymphoma he had, its position and the brain bleed. He also said he can go abroad whenever he wants but probably won't be able to return to roofing.
Had a great day yesterday with friends by the way.
Thank you all for your part in supporting me through what has been the worst year of my life so far.Hopefully things are now on the up!
Am sitting here crying with happiness for you both.
Bloody Well Done Mr and Mrs SA, huge love to you both XXXXXXXXXXNevertheless she persisted.0 -
Next check up in May so trying to relax and put it to the back of our minds for now. He is so lucky and knows it. HUGE sigh of relief. Neuro rehab to follow to try to get him back to normal but they don't know how much of a recovery he'll make how he is now could be the best he'll be. If lymphoma comes back radiotherapy is an option. So for now it's one day at a time. The main thing is he's "clean" as they call it not cured as they never say cured. Can't believe there was no hope last summer it just shows you should never give up.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

I echo what everyone else has already said. I'm so happy for you both :j :T now to plan that holiday in the sun!
P.s agree with Granny, make your own burgers! they're easy to do and you can freeze them and you know exactly what is in them as shop bought ones (especially budget ones) aren't great for you. Do you think his body is perhaps craving something in the meat?
