    I've been Money Tipped!
    I work in a shop , yesterday evening we had big problems with the card machine... every customer from about 3pm onwards who tried to use their card to pay was declined. Flipping nightmare!

    My direct debit failed two days ago, although it may have been for a different reason. Did anyone else have direct debits rejected on the 6th?

    Hi i hope some one can help us!!!!
    we sold our house in france and transfered the money in november 2012 to RBS and they have lost the money it is a huge amount of 700000 euros and we keep being promised that it will be in our account, this has been going on now for over 6 months now!!
    At the beginning of the 6 months we transfred 200000 euros still no money in our account,we need help please.

    Also we have 3 accounts missing from 4 months ago, one of these accounts is our business euro account!!!!

    It's usually best to create a new thread with a new problem, but I'd suggest making a formal complaint. It often seems to concentrate their mind, and if not solved within 8 weeks you can escalate the matter to the Financial Ombudsman. However if the matter is at the French end, I suspect there won't be a lot RBS can do to help.
  • I have also experienced my login not being recognised by Natwest, once this week when I had to enter all my details again, this is about the forth time this has happened. I have a ongoing issue with this bank regarding a card reader and I went online to complain. After filling in the online form it asks you to select from the drop down the subject of your complaint-However, it doesn't work! How do they get away with such appalling service to customers?

    **edit** Oh dear, forgot what year it was!

    If you're logging is not recognised, check with customer services for the customer number, some people seem to be missing digits from theirs.

    If the card reader is having problems try re-enabling it, if that does not work order a new one, wait 3 working days, try to enable, ensure it's showing your debit card there, if not call customer services to check there is no special card enabled and they can disable it, order a new card reader, wait 48 hours try again.

    Shopped in Tescos (I Know), and my debit card was refused. Can't access my online account either!

    Time to look for another bank!

    Or perhaps a backup bank, for when your card is refused, just in case the bank you move to also has glitches.
