    Morning

very quick one as in the middle of a rush job for work. Saw the dietictian this morning, she is very happy with progress, she didnt have her fancy scales this morning, but she did photcopy the sheet so now I have the May results and what they mean :) will post later.

This Week I lost 1 lb and last week I lost 1 lb :)Had a late dinner last night boil in bag fish with veg and new potatos, very nice but late in the day doesnt help.

Ajaxgeezer - Normalville :rotfl:Glad the honeymoon and the wedding went well. All the best, sorry for not posting sooner, Are you talking beer when only beer will do or wine or spirits? It might sound odd but I have abig mug of milky coffee, or even head to Starbucks and have a Venti Extra shot skinny latte :) otherwise drop the beer and go for a spirit with a diet mixer? Just a thought. Been a rugby player Im not a big drinker. But I do binge 3 or 4 times a years :)

Suggs recently it's been these new-fangled Irish ciders and copies of them (although I have kept my credibility and admitted my age by refusing the glass full of ice). Me and Mrs A are also keen fans of the Grape Juice Max which comes in those handy 750ml bottles. A bottle of wine is 24 syns, two pints is 20-25 syns, and two doubles of a spirit is 10 syns...... the answer is obvious but I prefer wine and beer unfortunately. Ah well, can't have it both ways.

League or union? And well done on the consecutive losses :T

...efrieze Thanks for your offer re the chart :T When DD confirms that she has excel, I'll pm my details later; it never ceases to amaze me just how nice people are here! Well done too on your weight loss :j I always weigh myself after doing the necessaries too, every little helps :D ...

...That's not bad Ishtar after a holiday :j I think that it's easier to lose if you do it straight away, it doesn't have time to set if you know what I mean?...

...Well done Honey to maintain :j (or is it that you don't want the big stick again :D ). MrP works in the area where they had to airlift people, he's gutted that he missed out because he went out on business in the am - it's the boy in him - he wanted to go in a proper helicopter :rotfl: , but DD still isn't home and hasn't contacted me since last night, so once she gets home and I can see she's okay I'll beat her up for making me worry :rotfl: ...

...Ajax Thanks "I have socks heavier than you!!! :D" :rotfl: :rotfl: I found it easier to stop drinking entirely, but then we very rarely go to a pub just for a social drink these days. It would have been different if we did I suppose...

...I hope anyone living in those awful flooded areas are okay, I know that at one time there were quite a few here from one of the affected areas, so :grouphug: if you are...

...Good luck to those of you who are still to weigh :j ...

Ajax, Im a union man myself and a member of the front row union to boot :) Thanks for the thanks, I have done 9stone now or to put it another way nearly a whole Petrichor! Im doing this purely from watching what I eat and hitting the gym 5-6 times a week, failing that I actually go in the gym and get al sweaty :) now the season is over for me.

I am still very overweight, beer belly, bingo flaps the works, but its going slowly :) Why am I telling you this? basically to reassure you it can be done, its not easy I admit, but still possible :) I hit my big milestone a couple of weeks ago, now aiming for one more stone in 7 weeks as I go on holiday with Mrs Suggs and out 5 children :)

Petrichor, sorry with all the rushing around this morning I missed your request. I did a weightloss graph last week for myself, If I knew how to post the chart to the thread would that help? Its a simple date on one axis and weight in pounds on the other. Just another offer :) even though you didnt congratulate me on my 1lb this week :p

...Suggs, oh I know it can be done but it's the motivation which is the hard bit isn't it? I went from 19st 2.5lb to 14st 7lb (65.5lb off) on SW a couple of years ago and since then I've been not really concentrating on it, living a bit of the old dolce vita and am now at a round (very round indeed) 16st dead. Folks like you who can lose a huge amount (even more than a whole Petrichor) really get my admiration, not only for the losing the weight itself but also the slightly different issue of being able to stay focused for so long. Hats off to you and all you others with big losses.

I have two targets before my birthday in September ... to bring my golf handicap down to 21 or less and to get down below 200 lbs for the first time since I was 18. Both targets are tough but achievable and hopefully increased fitness will make golf easier which in turn will spur on to lose more which will make golf easier etc.

That's it! One bottle of wine per week now on a Friday night and no more. When I dream of bottle two, I will see this text in my head instead and think of Suggsy's Nine Stone. COME ON!!!!

PS Five ankle-biters? And you had time to eat? :p
