Sorry I haven't been on for a couple of days. I've lost the plot. I can't seem to stick to a healthy eating plan atm but I'm doing really well at the gym. I blame lack of planning (again) I haven't done a menu plan for a week now and it definitely shows.

I've got to give this thing another go. I went onto the spark people website but found it scarey....... I think I'll go back to calorie counting - at least that way I can have a bit more variety (I really miss my cereal in the morning when following sw and too mean to use a healthy b for it!).

Well done this week's losers! ... Congratualtions on reaching target petrichor and welcome back Lois and Honey, we missed you.

Hope you are all ok and none of you got flooded, looked really bad on the news. We were fine here and now it is lovely and sunny. I made it to the gym last night as it stopped raining just before I planned to leave (it was my excuse not to go).
Spent 30min on the crosstrainer and did a bit on the fitball. Then I could not get into Pilates so did BodyBalance. Really good far harder than Pilates but so good I shall have to do it again. Need to get fitter though and my back is playing up so perfect reason so go.
Working from home all day but do have to leave about 4pm to go to a late appointment 85 miles away so will not have much of an evening. Will try to be good when eating out tonight.

By the way forgot to mention, I also did a weightloss chart last week in excel, and made a nice looking graph. I was sad enough to keep most of my Boots weigh in tickets :) anyway, its a nice looking even (mostly) downward trend, could even spot the two blips :)

I have dieted on and off for the last few years (mainly off, sadly!). I also have a graph of my weight back from 2001 (only from when i was dieting, I don't weigh myself when not on a diet - half the problem!!!). I find it really motivates me to see the line come down and compare what I weigh now to what I weighed at various times in the last 6 years.

Weigh-in tomorrow - wish me luck! Not sure whether it will be a good one or not. Hard to say.

Hi This is what I wanted to refer to yesterday, but with all the weather stuff (DD couldn't get home, still not here, and the resourceful MrP 'borrowed' a 71/2 tonner from work to get through the floods) I was all confused and couldn't find the right posts :o ...

...anyway, a few years ago on yet another diet I made a graph which I kept on the noticeboard in the kitchen and it really helped to keep me inspired because I didn't want to see the line go up, and there was only 1 week where the line was flat. I was going to do it this time but hadn't got any graph paper and I couldn't find a site online where there was anything suitable. As this time my weight loss has been quicker than any diet before (averaging 1.5 lbs pw instead of the 1 lb in the past:j ) I would like to see it 'as a graph' and use it as an aid to help me maintain when I get there (still to be decided), so perhaps either of you two could explain how you did the graphs please? I don't have excel but I think DD has but any help would be great. ...

... Suggs I was going to mention last night re your experience on the form redesign thingy, I had a similar experience once when no one would volunteer to do something saying that they didn't know how etc etc so with limited knowledge I gave it a go and when I'd done it I was suddenly surrounded by experts as to how it could have been done etc etc:mad:  So don't let it get to you, it's human nature, those folk are only followers. Like you, I too had (still do) problems re depression big time(your post last week struck a chord :o ) and sometimes the least 'little' thing can set it all off and last week I felt that I had company, so don't apologise for things and I won't either, this board is so cathartic :) ...

I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!
