Well done petrichor another fantastic result:j :j

beanie don't worry about me going too far, it is my stomach it has to go and not being totally happy makes all this not quite worthwhile.

I go on hol July 19th Thursday for 6 weeks, do not have a swimsuit yet.

THANKS for the congratulations, I did it, I did it, I did it:j :j

suggs I agree with the toning of the stomach to shift it, it is just me and gym have never got on so one last bash at this [STRIKE]starving[/STRIKE] heathly eating and then I will look at it again and see what else I can do, it has to go that is for sure:D

    Hi all

Well, what a miserable weekend it's been here - it's just stopped raining, but it's so cold I've had to put the heating back on!

Victory - congratulations, you've done really well, you're an inspiration to us all. :T I agree with others who've said that you probably need to tone up your tummy muscles - are you still cycling as that will help, and you could also get yourself an abdominal exerciser. Start off by doing sets of 10 reps at a time, as many sets as you can manage, and keep building up the number of reps in each set as the muscles start to tone up. Between each set, draw your knees up to your chest for a minute to allow the muscles to recover.

Welcome Poppyscorner , Kj116 and wilroda - I find this thread really motivating, much better than a weekly slimming class or doing it on your own, as there's something new to read every day. We'll be starting the next monthly challenge this week if you want to join in - we usually go for 5 lbs, to be achieved by the last Wednesday of the month, which will be 27th June.

In fact, it's probaby a good time to start off a list of people who want to join the June challenge, so I'll be first. Copy the list, paste it into a new message and add your own name to the end.

I've got a feeling you're not going to have any problems with a bikini by the time you go on holiday, knowing how well you do, but if you're still concerned about your midriff by then, you could always buy a figure control swimsuit like this one from M&S.

Big well done :j perichor :j, another big step in the right direction!! Enjoy.

Not sure whats going to happen this week for me, but fingers crossed for Wednesday. I guess the end of season celebrations are playing hell with me, I did work out that in the last 21 days I have been in the gym 17 times, Mrs suggs reckons its time to ease off again! I tend to agree with her, just want to next 2lb off! Trust me I will be singing, dancing and celebrating, but I will still be obese, so when I admit to my weight, please dont die of shock! :o Am going on the gym night out to a indian of all places on Thursday, would love to be on target for then.

Sorry for not been around much, I was in London abit last week and I have Tuesday to write a proposal :( Typical!

Gym wise I went in today and was shown some weight training exercises to start sorting out my flabby bits, going to attack the deltoids, tricep, chest areas first will add 10min to my gym session. Might knock 5min of the bike to compensate for it. In time, a few more weeks, I will start swimming again, hope this will attack my 'muffin top' My stomach has shrunk a lot, but a little overhung still exists (actually alot, but not as much!) Victory, not sure what position you adopt on the bike, I was told the more upright position is best for the stomach, as you can control the stomach muscles?

Got to loose weight gained this week, plus couple more before I go on hols...

Victory Where are you going on your hols? For 6 weeks am so jealous:o Thought I was doing well going for 3 weeks to South France.:rotfl:

I was so upset when I went to Matalan to get some clothes for my hols. In trousers, shorts or skirts I needed the same size as I was before I lost my weight:mad: But tops were too big in a 12 and too tight in a 10:confused:
    no boobs:rotfl:

It's just not fair, had same problem in Asda, going to try Primark next week, when one DS back at school (will just have to drag one then!!). He's my greatest critic and soon tells me if he doesnt like wot I've got on or if he thinks it doesnt match:eek:  Great to be told off by a 9 year old for my fashions sense:rotfl: :rotfl:

    Hi everyone

Since my first posting last week I've been getting into the diet 'mindset' I've not been an angel this weekend ... but I did keep away from the junk food and choccy

I've been reading everyones posts with interest and I'm sure this thread will keep me motivated.

I hope this diet is more succesful than my last attempt. I thought I was eating healthily ... but I just ended up putting weight ON

(I think my portion control needs some attention;) )
