Tesco changing price match policy from 11th march

I've had a refund of £8. I ordered a few jars of Nescafe Parisien coffee and a couple of bottles of Berio light olive oil, both of which were much much cheaper at Asda, plus some other bits and pieces.
I ended up with an £8 refund.
Next time I used Tesco, I carefully chose some bulk buys that were much cheaper at Asda again. Unfortunately it was offset by a couple of good Tesco bargains so I ended up with only a £1 refund.
Lesson learnt, split my shopping so the Tesco bargains don't reduce my refund.
I've also reinstalled the irritating mysupermarket price checker gadget so I can see each Asda price as I add an item to my Tesco basket.0
