The debt boards give good advice about how to stop taking from your bank and charges how to reclaim, post over there for help in this area. Sounds like a month on even footing will sort a lot of problems.

    Just ignore it.

Have a look at the help you can get.

Also check your water company. Our local one does caps for people on benefits with 3 children.

disability benefits are only generous if you get the higher rates. direct debits would help as there is no pre payment meter, so no need to top it up. the amount paid is the same every month.

When in an overdraft especially unauthorised this is not advisable. They need stability without charges before such a drastic change.

Even lower rates - paid to lower disabilities are generous to those on Job seeking. When I was undergoing treatment for cancer ESA was far greater than JSA.

    'lower disabilities'?

my disability benefits dont even begin to cover the extra costs i incure. ESA is £28 a week more than JSA.
but JSA is temporary whilst ESA is more of a long term thing.
you try living on that amount forever

From reading your original post. I don't think you are going to them with the right attitude. Saying "I never signed nothing", this allows me to imagine you sent them a letter in a similar style.

The way in which you respond to other posters on the forum also supports my theory. You do sound like you could benefit from some further education, by no means do I say that I am clever! (I'm NOT) But there are things that you just don't say and things that you say in a very clever way.

I found that the banks respond only to very clear and simple points.

As people have said, try any of the support services suggested. I would also continue to write to them and explain the circumstances. Remember you should use plain english and simple terms.

From reading what you have posted. You do not understand how to budget and you do not understand the way in which utility accounts or bank accounts work. If you are paying for the utilities on a card, then you can pay via the direct debit (bank), it's the very same money! But clearly you need to manage it and that's where you have a problem.

Also I'd like to point out that you would have agreed terms with the bank when opening the account. This has been the case for many years, even if you opened the account online.

You could not know what anyone else has paid in tax. This is the problem that you have, do you treat the bank the same?

The last part of your post is abusive and I will report it to be removed if you continue.

As the last post says, you need to calm down, if you want to sort out the problem you have to ignore the people that say things like this. I have been quite harsh, but what I have said is true.

I feel for your situation, but I think there are more things that you could do to help yourself. One main thing is changing your attitude.

There are lots of ideas to consider.

ive been told twice in the past few days that im 'only a little bit disabled' and that im ' just blind'

you have to let it go over your head.
people that say things like that are after a reaction.
by giving it to them, youre giving them what they want.
rise above it and hit the ignore button!

I dont know what people have paid in tax etc i have paid my fair bit in tax trust me thats not why im here to argue.

I googled Reclaim bank charges and it brought me here a while back there was a special page on how to do it on this website and what to write i copied that part, then put my own words in it like Financial hardship etc, I stated the reasons why i was going overdrawn, what i was recieving in benefits and then they sent me a letter back saying there was nothing they could do and apolagise for my financial situation

You told them child benefits were generous. What did you mean by that? Then you said disability benefits aren't, so a bit of clarification is needed, if you are going to fan fires.
