I went to my local coop to get some Chinese noodles and stirfry veg to go with some chicken from the freezer.
Loads of stuff was reduced to 10p. So bought peppers, salad, wraps, Mexican dips, houmous, as well as carrots, bread rolls and mushrooms. I got a great big bag full for £2.10 cheaper than the stirfry I had gone in for.
We had Mexican wraps for tea and everything else got used.

Was passing by a Sainsbos local for a YS treat around 9.30pm after a long day at work yesterday. Was expecting to pick up a nice bakery treat, but came across packs of 6 cake bars (Sainsbos version of Mr Kipling) for all of 29p. Not sure why I picked up 20 packs but work colleagues are in for a treat today!

It's gonna be a chocolate, carrot cake and country slice-fest :D

When did Aldi stop doing reduced items first thing in the morning?

I always took delight in picking up something at 30 or even 50% off but I have been in a few times recently and there has been no redused items at all :(

I know! I am lucky enough to have Aldi as my local shop and could often be found in there about an hour to pre closing to pick up the 30 - 50% off bargains but no more, not for a long time, sorry I also don't know why....
  • I can't actually remember the last time I paid full price for meat products, near enough all meat in our freezer is yellow ticket reduced stuff, as long as you free it right away, it's better.

I found at our local Sainsburys, that if anythings reduced on a Saturday, it tends to be reduced heavily, perhaps thinking it'll go quicker as that's busiest day?

sainso had reduced the organic lamb joints yesterday. I got a 2.26 kg joint for £13. OK, I agree its not the cheapest but original price was £27 so I felt like it was a bit of a bargain.
