Done reduced shopping today. I went a bit earlier in the day as I didn't want the scrum of people and battling for bargains. So I went earlier, got them at a slightly higher price than end of day bargains, but I'm happy with that. I really wanted salmon though and none was reduced!
I will go again on New Year Eve, that's usually a good time, and gives me time to make room in my freezer!
Today I got 2x diced chicken breasts, breaded haddock, chicken drumsticks, pizza express pizza and pork chops. this will all go towards the rest of my freezer contents and the plan is not to buy any meat in January, unless I find really good bargains!0 -
Loads of half price offers in Aldi this morning, I bought enough to fill my freezer :T0

I got a fair bit of Christmassy cheese on sale, they're just trying to get rid of stock now, so this is a great time to get bargains!0 -

Sainsburys TTD Christmas puddings in the gold boxes are £2.40 for 2lb pudding RTC. I bought one beginning of last year and had it on Xmas Day. Even if was dated March 2016, there was nothing wrong with it. Kept it in my parents garage.

I arrived at Tesco last night at 7.15pm, just as the assistant was putting the third yellow sticker on, marked down to 75% off. I got £25 of food for £6.20. Plenty for everyone, no scrambling. My fridge is full, this will feed me for two weeks.
