I sometimes layer leftover lamb with potatoes, onions, carrots and gravy and put it in the oven for about an hour to make a sort of hotpot.
You could also make some pasties with it. Chop up some onion, potatoes and carrots into small pieces, season and cook in a small amount of stock adding chopped up lamb for the final 5 mins. Roll out some pastry (or for a lower fat Hairy Bikers version roll out some bread dough), place the meat/veg mix in the middle, brush round with water and press the edges together to make a pasty. Brush with milk (or beaten egg) and cook in the oven for approx 30 mins until golden brown.I like to live in cloud cuckoo land :hello:0 -
Hi Sally,
We have an existing thread with lots of ideas and recipes so I've added your thread to it to keep the suggestions together.
