We made ours into Samosas for tea tonight with curry sauce and jacket potatoes - nom. We added all the leftover veg to them as well
Ok, these sound properly delicious. Have printed a copy of your recipe for the kitchen, thank you
I really like the sound of the pilau too, with some spices and nuts, but wouldn't quite know where to start or what it should look/taste like :think:Kitchenbunny wrote: »In went the slices of lamb to be heated up in the gravy, and then we had them served in hot warm baguettes (just the part-baked variety).
And this! So simple, but had never thought of hot lamby baguettes... yum.
I usually just bung our leftover lamb in a curry. Also often cover in gravy (I always make too much anyway) in tin foil pots to be frozen and reheated as is in the oven with roasties next time.
I think perhaps my salad tonight was not nearly satisfying enough - all this talk of lamb is making my tastebuds tingle!0 -
I have just stripped our lamb leg and got sooooo much meat off it. Have put in a freezer container with loads of gravy and stuck it in freezer. Will do us all a lovely easy tea one night0

Hi. I was wondering if anyone could give me some ideas what to do with the huge amount of slow-cooked lamb that I have left over from dinner today? All the recipes that I look at use raw lamb + I am not sure if they will actually work with cooked lamb. From the leg of lamb I cooked for Easter, I made
Cottage pie,
curry
cold cuts with salad a chips
When using it in a recipe you just bung it in at the last minute, so cook up the raw stuff and add at the end.
Make anything you like really where you might use mince.

I had some leftover rolled lamb breast and, with apologies to Lancashire, I just added it to my Boulangere potato recipe. If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5?
