    Hi,

I would like to join the challenge for 2014.

    H.Ed
    CC#1 £3,230 - 1% is £33
    CC#2 £1,753 - 1% is £18
    CC#3 £1,320 - 1% is £14

Although I am not new to MSE, this is the first time I am signing up to any challenges.
I have been reading through the post and have been inspired to join and start recording my efforts.

I have 3 CC debts to clear totalling £6,303
On each of these the minimum payments cover more than just the interest, so I am always chipping away at the debt, albeit slowly.
To keep things simple I will not include this in my 1%, and should be pleasantly surprised when reassessing at the end of the year. :)

    Good luck everyone.

Hi everyone, new and old :j

Well progress today. Got a £15 refund but had to refund someone £9 myself so £6 up and getting a £9(after postage) sale hopefully tonight which will be going to debt 2b.

My focus this month is food and keeping it cheap, Resisting the sales and costa coffee! Hoping to manage on what money we have so when child benefit comes 3rd week in January I can put it straight to debt 2b :D

The husband is back at work tomorrow so will be doing normal hours til after the weekend and then it's overtime galore.

    Hi all,

Only spent £1 today on milk. Had 2 friends round at different times. Usually with friend No2 we'd go for costa (£6-8 for me and my kids) and for a deadly wander round the shops. Instead, i offered her round for a brew and we'd bake cakes with the kids and have a natter. Was a lovely afternoon and best of all it was free :j

Tomorrow however, the morning ill be at soft play, ive been given free entry passes so kids are free, ill probably get myself a coffee at £1.80 Hmmm or leave my purse at home!!

Oh also DD1 needs new school shoes :( Clarks on Saturday then!!
