    Hi all,

    It's amazing to see the progress that everyone has made! Well done :T

    I had a total of £9,000 debt that I was tackling, which I broke this up into 6 smaller debts.

    Here's my end of year update:
    Debt 1 (£1,200) 100% Done!
    Debt 2 (£230 / £1,400) 16% :)

    Wishing everyone a happy, healthy and successful 2014 :A

    My end of year totals are;

    £9410.39 on 4 credit cards paid off, closed down and cleared 100% paid!
    £3287.76 of one loan paid off, leaving £2465.82 to pay and will be paid off next year and settled 70% paid!

    2014 aims;
    £19653.31 loan I'm in the process of saving up for to settle 20 years early, currently at 1% and this is my focus for the year ahead. 1% saved!

    Thanks from me too for this thread, it has been a big help to tackle the debt 1% at a time. I'm really pleased with how far I've progressed and repaid debt over the last 12 months and hoping for the same over the next 12 months.
    final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333

  • Hi... Can I join you for 2014 too? I've decided to focus on the CC debt (contemplated adding the informal family debt here too, but then 1% looked too scary). I'm trying hard to bash the CC's this year, total debt currently £7,732. Taking 1% = £78 (keep it neat). Looking forward to the journey, best of luck folks!

    A very happy new year to you all..

    I would like to sign up for 2014 as I have a 0% credit card that needs to be cleared, ideally by December if possible.
    1% is £13.80 which really doesn't seem like much at all, so fingers crossed I'll be able to make some easy small dents into the debt that will all add up to be 100% of it!
    I have put a pair of trousers on ebay and anything I sell them for can go towards the 1% pot. I am going to have a good wardrobe clear out tomorrow too and see if I can turn some other clothes into cash to add on too.

    Really looking forward to this challenge! :-)
