2% so far for me this month, and working towards the third.

Made from refund from BT, overpayment from other accounts and from selling books and doing surveys.

  • Paid another 1%, now at 17% paid off :)
  • Paid another 3% off, now at 20%

Is anyone else doing this challenge? It's just that I was the last poster from the end of Jan

I am! :hello: I've just got such large 1%s, they're tricky to raise. Still flogging away on ebay, though, and on all the different book sites. Crossed off another 2% at the beginning of this month.

  • Hi, I'm so glad you're here :). I know what you mean about the 1% being large. I have it as one lump sum total of just credit card debt. I think it will take me a long time to reach 100%
  • Hi,
I am still part of this challenge, and keep an eye on the thread, but only have end of month updates to report, so don't post very often. I am sure there are lots of us still working away quietly at our 1%'s. I am hoping to get to 50% in the next couple of months, and have found the suggestions for making extra little bits of money on the first page of the thread most helpful.
So welcome, come on in and join us :)

  • Hi LittleMissUniDebt,

May i please join this challenge? I have currently increased my hours in a new job and have also been offered regular overtime so although my 1% is really high for this challenge it is achievable :)

I had lots of challenges on the go but was beginning to get confused as they were "crossing". Whilst i will carry on with their principles I want to concentrate on this challenge.

    My 1% challenge is £355

  • HI :)
I am still plugging away too - my final debt is the family loan which has gone down from 8000 to 5800 - 27% paid. We have been reassured that we don't need to rush paying this back. If we sell the property which is currently rented out then we can pay it back as a lump sum, otherwise just keep chipping away.
We are hoping to have a family so we are also saving up a lump sum in the hope that I will be off for a few months so will need money put aside to make up for shortfall.
It would be amazing to save up 10,000 and I have currently saved 3000. 30%

    Debt 1: 2200/8000 paid 27%
    Savings: 3000/10,000 saved 30%

    Good luck y'all!
