Hiya All,
Is this an ongoing thread, or does it start afresh every year? It's something that we'd be up for giving a go, and could help us keep our eyes on the ball.
I'd love to join, but am wondering when would be best to step on?!

This thread has been running since early 2013 and we just keep going with it. People step on and off as suits them :-)0

Thanks for the clarification, Ellie BB.
May we join, then, please?
We need to sit down and do the maths later today, but I know that we'd like our 1% to be of our total debt. The next small target i to get rid of the Barclaycard, as that's the last of our debt that currently has an (extortionate!) May I join in please? I have a debt of £2000 so my 1% is £20. Not sure exactly how this works so am going to go to the 1st page and have a proper read through again.0

Hi everyone,
I have had the worst year this year both financially and personally. On top of dealing with some health issues I am in the process of packing up my house as me and my family are moving into temp accomodation. I have wallowed and cried over this so now I am looking at the positives and 2015 is going to be my turning point, I am retraining to be a hairdresser something i am enjoying and love doing.
The plus on moving is our rent will free up alot of our money as it was a case of working to keep the house.
So to get a handle on my finances my targets will be as below:
Credit Card 1 - £490 so my 1% is £4.90
Credit Card 2 - £190 so my 1% is £1.90
Credit Card 3 - £160 so my 1% is £1.60
Credit Card 4 - £230 so my 1% is £2.30
Catalogue 1 - £300 so my 1% is £3.00
Catalogue 2 - £230 so my 1% is £2.30
Catalogue 3 - £140 so my 1% is £1.40
I will work on these individually so as not to loose focus or get drowned in 1%'s
Once I have completed all of these targets it means that I can then move onto my car finance whish is the biggest but also means I will have more money free to overpay it.
Looking forward to turning my corner in 2015.......
