Hi all,
Have been waiting so impatiently for payday and it's finally here.
Yippee got backpay that I was owed for ages :j:j
Paid to Barclaycard £2000 and Argos £100 and CC £51.58 to clear CC - if only I could learn not to use my cards even small buys add up
But still have my DD of £200 to go through to Barclaycard next Monday and have another £400 in my purse to bank which will also go to Barclaycard (when I find time to get to the bank ha ha) :rotfl:. So am very pleased with my progress so far AND I forgot :money: was accepted for Tesco 0% card for 29 months - when it comes will transfer £2300 from Barclaycard to it and will then really tackle paying off the rest as quickly as possible.
Will update when DD goes through.

another 2 % paid off. Small steps in the right direction.
Savings goal £30,000 1% = £300.

Was feeling demoralised but the 1% challenge has kept me sane! Just totted up my figures, and finished paying off card number 1 (100%:j) and, despite charges accrued on the latest credit card shuffle, I've still cleared 25.95% overall  Debt now sitting on two cards, but for motivation, am keeping to the original three card split. Next smallest card (which is still accruing interest, albeit only 6.9%) is the next one I'm targeting - so, card number 2 = 10% clear so far, meaning £2000 to go.... Onwards and upwards fellow 1%ers

Hi all, does anyone know with the new eBay changes if it is 20 items per calendar month? I.e. has it reset this morning? There used to be a way you could see how many free listings you had but I can't seem to see it now. Thanks and happy percenting.0

They reset this morning. For me I need to have the "All selling" pages up and if you scroll down past the Sold items there is a place where it shows what listings you have available. HTH:)
Savings goal £30,000 1% = £300.

You're a star! I spent ages searching for that this morning!

Hi, Long time no post.
Number 187 Update!
I am not quite debt free yet, but am pretty close compared to this time last year...
My company announced in April 2012 that they were starting a redundancy programme, and they've been doing it in waves, 500-750 at a time. I found out in August 2013 that I was selected for redundancy, and I finished on 20th December. I used my redundancy money to pay off my credit cards and money I'd borrowed from family.
I still have debt on my car, and the Haven holiday home that I co-own with my parents, but that's it!
I started a new job a few weeks ago and as it involved relocating, I have settled into a new home a week ago.
Can I please start a new 1% plan? The balloon payment on my car will be £6000, so I'd like to start a new 1% savings plan for that amount, meaning 1% = £60.
Thanks, and good luck to everyone on their journey.I wanna be a saver, not a spender but first...

Thanks happytails! Yes big changes indeed. So far so good, and things looking up, I can finally be a saver!! Might have to change my username
My company repaid my relocation expenses today, so I can soon make a start on that savings account. I borrowed a bit from Mum and Dad, and I have to pay off the credit card I had to use, but the money is there for it, and a bit more, and that's the first time I've EVER been able to say that! There's not much that could make me happier right now.
