Hi can I join in? I started on mse with just over £8000 debt I'm now down to my last one which is my OD of £1000, this is the hardest one as I keep dipping in and looking track. I've been looking for a challenge to help me out, I've got a savings account where I'm going to transfer my ££ to then everytime I make £100 I'm going to pay it off my od and lower the limit. This is my plan but liked the idea of tracking every £10 as it will make me think about what I buy as it could be another % towards my goal.Living the simple life0

Hi everyone!! Well i was well and truely spoilt this weekend and we spent rather alot. off the top of my head, Husband spent £100 on me for my birthday, £25 for my hair appt, £30 on drinks/night out and then we went to the Zoo on Sunday (its 1/2 price in March and the kids LOVED it) it was £25, and a further £25 on food, so just over £200  but its a one off an no major birthdays for 6 months and £30 off my birthday present was a voucher for my favourite fabric shop so im going to get some lovely fabric to make presents with so i suppose its not all bad. Or am i just trying to justify it?

Well done Braddy!
Going shopping for some food today. We don't eat along of grains (bread/pasta/rice/lentils etc) Normally so our meals are meat and veg which is obviously quite expensive as its usually 50/50 but aiming to have lots of veg and a smaller portion of meat so we will see how things go!
Got to get my butt into gear to return something from amazon and write up this letter for the bank.
I then need to tidy up my desk (again!) to get it ready to make 3 birthday presents and maybe an anniversary present if I get chance. Going to look into making my own simple birthday cards too to see if its cheaper than the shop. I usually buy the 29p ones but then I've got to drag kids into the high street, park up and usually end up getting something I wasn't supposed to! But then making them means finding time, decisions, decisions!
