    Hello everyone

What a great thread. Breaking it down into 1% is such a good idea and makes it so much less scary. Its too easy to get overwhelmed and give up!

May I join in too please?

My total debt is £5185 so I'll round that up to £52.

    Orange Ena 1% = £52

Just had lots of items finish on eBay and I think that I may make around £45. Plus I've counted yp my loose change which is £28.15 so my 1st % is done. Now for the other 99% :rotfl:

Thanks for being so inpsiring everyone and thanks to LMUD for starting this thread. :)

  • Hi everyone,

I have just found this thread and am interested in joining as there are lots of great ideas and also nice to round it down in to a more manageable amount. I have faced lots this year already and time to face the debts head on, I have a slight spending problem where my daughter is concerned but its silly little things, so will need to use this as inspiration and to keep me on track!

We have a large amount of debt, my debts are on a DMP and my husbands are paying minimum each month but we want to start chipping away at them. The 1% are as follows:

    - £17000 - £170
    - £5500 - £55

total debt is £22500 - our Timetorebuild 1% is £225

    So now down to business!

    Debt 2 = £500 - 1% = £5.00 -33% :j
    Debt 3 = £1900 - 1% = £19.00 - 2%
    Debt 4 = £8000  - 1% = £80.00 - 0.5%
  • One step forward - 1% - £25 from ebay sale

    Hi All,

Rushy reporting in for the end of March...I've still not got my act together on eBay yet, but quite a few things almost ready to go on there, loads of old trains, etc. from when I was a kid, trying to maximise the money by finding out exactly what they are, but has taken a few weeks searching on Google etc. so April should be a good one hopefully.

But for now, I'm going to add March's Council Tax non-payment and declare:

  • Morning fellow percenters! :p

Great to see lots of updates coming in for both the long time members & the new folks too! I will update the list at the end of the week.

Shinner - Of course you can join in! If your debt is interest free then that's fine. Min payments just cover the interest being added which is why they don't count. When you're back paying your min payments you'll just count your percents. :)

CraftingMad - Hope you are having a wonderful holiday! After all of your hard work you deserve it! :T

Got to send off my expenses this week they make such a huge difference on my take home pay. All the little things certainly add up! Need to make sure I'm spot on with it! :D
