  • Happy to finally report 2% for No. 225 made and paid towards goal now.

    All made through ebay sales.

Got a few other irons in the fire, some more ebaying plus amazon book sales which i should be able to cash out by end of the month.

Phew thought I was never going to get off the starting blocks then it all suddenly begins to coming together.

  • Hey all! Finally getting some percents sorted after a long (too long!) break!

Payments are coming in now, I'm a month ahead on bills for the first time in years and years! I've got my minimums set up on direct debit which never worked for me before due to fluctuating income.

Had some money from QuidCo back which I've used to get all Easter chocolate sorted. I've got a computer to sell also which might result in a few more percents and I've got bits & pieces to sort here and there. A few bank letters have gone out which should be the last of the PPI and charges.

Hope you're all having a nice day. It's amazing how everything just springs to life! :)

Hi little miss, well I have added up payments sent and direct debits etc and debt #1 is at 34.02% .. £1020.61 / £3000 paid and debt #2 is at 9.50%... £304.16 / £3200.00 , very happy with my progress this month and I have also saved up a £500 emergency fund in my partners account :D x
    The 1% Challenge #76 - Debt 1 = £620 - 1% = £6.20 - 4.3%
    Debt 2 = £1600- 1% = £16 - 0%
    Debt 3 = £1012 - 1% = £10.12 0%

    Pay all your debt by Xmas 2016 #130- £465.86/£7636.46 - 6.1 %
    Make £10 a day ~ Jan £182.49, Feb £373.65

  • Latest updates...

    1. Surveys: £5 Amazon voucher from Clubhouse surveys, total £99.22 (so tantalizingly close to £100...)

    2. Online panels. £5 from one panel and a whopping £50 from another, taking total to £80.00 :j

    3. GPT: Adding £38.23 from Neobux; 71p from Yovia; £4.91 from DollarSignup; £2.83 from GoldDiggerGPT; £25 from Swagbucks (Amazon GC). Total GPT earnings now £272.71 :j

    4. Amazon selling: Nothing to report.

    5. Coupons: Used a coupon for Tyrells crisps, 50p, total now £12.35.

    6. Referrals: £14.41 referral credit from iHerb, total £58.97.

    7. Homebrew: haven't updated this properly so far, just added up the total savings on cider and wine and it comes to £91.00.

    8. Cashback: £5.64 cashback from Quidco, total £39.39.

    9. Banking: have just signed up for Santander 123 current account and credit card, so will have something to report soon from that! Discovered that the credit card applied for a few months ago that was supposed to be a Halifax Clarity card apparently isn't, as there was no £5 "reward" for charging £300 on the card. Hmmfph, will have to write a cross letter now...

    10. Insurance (new category): I guess I will count this as a new category... savings made by shopping around at renewal instead of just renewing with current insurer. Have saved a whopping £137.41 on car insurance by doing this!

Since I am only counting percentages when they reach £100 in each category, I am now declaring 2% in the GPT category, and 1% in the Insurance category, for a total of:

    3% towards my goal :j (member #212)

Hi all, just made £9 on eBay! Yey!

It's payday at the end of the week and we are hoping to reduce our overdraft by 49.5% (£990) we are planning on doing this drastic pay off to make sure we stick on the straight and narrow all month otherwise we forfeit food/petrol etc in bulk buying the formula and dog food as always and going to bulk buy a uht milk, the cereal etc etc I've got 1 night out planning in April (birthdays are budgeted for already) and the car tax is due next payday so will pay that then.

The husband is then planning on doing enough overtime to clear the last £1000 on our overdraft next month (30/04)

It's going to be a tough 2 months but it will save us 4 months from my predicted 6 months to pay it which saves us £120 in interest too! I'm going to be selling things throughout the month and listing here but this money will be used to live etc. really hope we can do this!
