I applied for one of these about 4 weeks ago, no confirmation email or post, rang up and told I need to go to branch and provide ID. Did that 2 weeks ago but again heard nothing since. Anyone else had this trouble before I go chasing up via phone? Thanks0

Just wondering what peoples views would be on when it will be safe for my to try applying for a flex direct account again.
I opened the account on 11 March 2013, the 5% ended therefore on 10 March 2014. The account shows as closed on my credit report 3 April 2014. Therefore the time is coming where i should be able to apply again as will have not had the intro rate for 12 months.
However, would it be ok to apply on 11 March for example (anniversary of last account) or would it be safer to apply after 3 April (i.e. after the actual closure of the account.
Fingers crossed they allow another one as my Yorkshire account is due to end the higher rate of interest on 31st March.MFW#105 - 2015 Overpaid £8095 / 2016 Overpaid £6983.24 / 2017 Overpaid £3583.12 / 2018 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2019 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2020 Overpaid £2583.12/ 2021 overpaid £1506.82 /2022 Overpaid £2975.28 / 2023 Overpaid £2677.30 / 2024 Overpaid £2173.61 Total OP since mortgage started in 2015 = £37,286.86 2025 MFW target £1700, payments to date at April 2025 - £1712.07..0 -

If you're still able to log in to their internet banking send them a secure message and ask!
I closed a joint FlexDirect account in December and wondering if I can open a single one and get the 5% now? In the terms it doesn't mention my situation but it says you can have both a joint and a single at the same time so if I still had the joint one it would be no problem. But then it also says if you've had one you need to wait a year before getting another. Anyone know the answer to this? Thanks.0 -

Hi
I have just upgraded my Flex account to a FlexDirect account on-line ......
The upgrade happened immediately.
The account number will remain the same.
They are sending out a new card .... and say that my existing card will remain active for 21 days.
Cheers

Should have kept your account for free European travel and just bounced £750 in and out each month and opened a flexdirect account separate."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0
