Definitely not for me. It's fairly random when they "pull me up" on payments to existing payees, but definitely not every time.

    Absolutely correct

Well that's great for you. I can't see it. It used to be there but is not any more, unless they moved it?

They did move it recently. it's on the right hand side now.

Has anyone been able to confirm how many accounts one person is allowed? I asked in branch and they scratched their heads for a bit and then said that I could, but it would take 20 minutes so I tried online and got accepted for a second. So that's 1 Flex Account and 2 Flex Directs at the mo but don't want to push it?

You can definitely *open* four FlexDirects - I have done this, and all four are now showing in Online Banking (although one of them took a few days to appear, weirdly).

What remains in doubt is whether or not you will get the 5% interest on all of the accounts.

It is 12 months free overdraft, for however much overdraft they will give you.

so if the overdraft is free, planned or unplanned?.... then would it be wise to just use there 2.5k to deposit in another flexdirect account to get the 5%?

The money has to come from via an external account. Plus that assumes they will give you a 2.5k overdraft (unlikely)

That's if they give you 2.5k and if they allow 5% interest on more than one account

I'm surprised no-one has thought of that

I know it's tedious but could you read at least some of the thread before posting:cool:
