I think Labour are strong favourites to win the next election
A certain David is required to transform the party.
The opposition bench currently consists of Brownites and Tony Blair rejects. The worst assembly that I've ever seen.
My moneys on another coalition.
Eastleigh is a LibDem stronghold. 100% council LibDem. So no surprises.0 -
Are people REALLY still talking about which "party" is best.

Angela Eagle is particularly dim. Some might even say a little bit special.
I do not think that she is dim but certainly lacking in impact. I cannot understand how Labour chose her for QT.Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0 -
This seat wasn't "won" though, it was held.
Not really. It was held by Chris Huhne and is now held by Mike Thornton.
The BBC website might say 'Lib Dem' hold but that isn't true. The individual has the seat not the party. If Mikey boy decides to join the BNP or Labour then the seat moves with him.0 -

Dave Milliband won't be any better. There is an arrogant "I know what's good for you better than you do" about him. All he will do is extend the client state and make yet more people dependent on them.
They cannot be trusted with the economy.0 -
