Hi 32b, do you mean the thick slices remain frozen for too long?
Hiya
It is usually still a bit frozen but I meant that the thick slice is just a bit too much bread.SPC9 #125 - £816.85

Hello everyone,
I've joined in since January but have only just found March's thread for some reason.
I'm still doing well, I sometimes have a "treat" once a week and buy something from the lovely cafe downstairs but 4 days out of 5 i bring my own lunch in to work.
Today I have Spaghetti with Wholemeal Toast.0 -
Hi all
I had pasta today in a tomato sauce - left over from Friday's lunch which was left over from Thursday's tea time where I made extra, but I made too much extra
Tomorrow is left over roast dinner from yesterday, and then on Wednesday I might have a banana sandwich. Then I have a soup and can do pasta too.
Also, I saw that somebody in this thread made themselves jelly and I thought what a good idea so I bought some jelly cubes, but it's too cold in the kitchen to go down and make it tonight, like having a walk in freezer :rotfl:
7/7 so far, still aiming for 20!0 -
rather unfortunately for me, I've just had 2 days off sick so i'll be taking £10 off my total for March. I also slipped twice last week and bought a wrap from Tesco. Going to try and be good for the next week and a half and then I'm on holiday.£2 Savers Club 2014 #38 | 20p Savers Club 2014 #37 | 50p Savers Club 2014 #29

I'm still ploughing through my pasta bake.
I'd say there's 2 portions left which takes me through to payday.

Back to work tomorrow so I will be back to taking lunch with me
Tomorrow it will be ham and cheese sandwiches with crisps, a banana and some grapes. Friday will be SW KFC Style chicken in a wholemeal roll with salad cream.
KFC style chicken is my fav at the moment, I tend to make it too spicy though!

Afternoon
I go a pack of 4 sandwich boxes in the £ shop today. Because I take sandwiches to work when they are still frozen, they make the inside of my bag wet. Hopefully these boxes will stop this happening
Does anyone know if you can freeze pate? You can get pate slices in Tesco, and they are just the right size for the bread

Save yourself some money and take mine off my hands, please, I am soooooo bored with pate
I had it twice last week and even that was too much. I caved and bought some Wensleydale on Wednesday (for some reason in real life I can't say that word without saying 'nice Wensleydale, Grommit') and then on Thursday work had lunch sent in so I had a freebie chicken and bacon layered salad :T
I'm off to the shops in a bit but just need to buy crumpets (for breakfasts) and some crisps then I'll buy bread on Monday morning and try to make the Wensleydale last all weekMake £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
