got my homemade veg curry again today - have to say it was delicious yesterday with mango chutney and yoghurt. we have a microwave at work so was able to warm my curry through and eat it in kitchen area rather than at my desk! Also have an apple, a pear and a chocolate digestive biscuit!
OH has eaten the rest of the curry though so will need to plan what to bring tomorrow and Friday. I have yoghurts, home made bread, fruit, cheese, peanut butter, tuna, eggs etc so can definitely make some lovely lunches to bring in...
Have a lovely MSE day everyone!

if you want to whizz up the M4 Kittie you could have some! Lol! Am actually going to make some more as have some sweet potato that needs cooking at some point!
My favourite recipe so far is : heat a pan, add some cumin and chilli flakes to the pan and dry fry for a couple of minutes, add vegetable oil, then chopped onions and cook gently for a few minutes. Then add your veg (sweet or normal potato etc) and ensure it's coated with spices/oil. Then red lentils, coconut milk (sachet works for me) and some hot water and let it gently simmer. Add tomatoes if you like and some spinach at the end if you are going to eat it straightaway. nom nom.

Oops, I was a little bit naughty today. Had my lunch as normal, but then ended up doing the milk run for work, I came away with a pain au chocolate as well as milk. :o It was only 89p though and at least I didn't come away with a whole Subway meal!

I don't know if this counts or not, but I pop along to my local B&M store every week and buy 9 or 10 tins of soup (mostly Baxters, all under 90p each) and take one every day to work for lunch. 3 minutes in the microwave and I have a hot yummy lunch. If I'm on a fasting day, I know exactly what my calorie intake is. I do make a lot of soup at home but this is just so easy - select soup, chuck in work bag, leave home. Quite often I have another tin for supper as I'm out doing musical things every evening except Fridays so need something quick, tasty and healthy before I head off again.

Oh you naughty Twiggy :rotfl:only joking. Maybe you could consider this a snack and not actually lunch sort of excuse? :D

Hello fatpiggy  - what a fab name and of course your tins of soup counts after all we all have to buy ingredients etc, the idea is for us not to have to buy anything from a shop or canteen at a much higher price :)

I have taken lunch with me every day I have been to work since I joined this challenge. I have frozen sandwiches (cheese & ham) for tomorrow and Friday but today I had a KFC style chicken and cheese sandwich and yesterday I had a left over pulled pork and cheese sandwich. Both were lovely :D

I take grapes and a banana each day and a couple of cans of diet coke :D

Very well done 32b3 :j:T:j you have done much better than me :( I can't resist curry day in work unfortunately :D

The KFC style chicken sounds lush :T - not for me though unfortunately. I'm trying to go lower carbs but it's a bit difficult when you don't eat meat though the hot dog type veggie sausages are quite low carb.

Keep up your good work! :)
