  • Todays UU:
TBS Cranberry joy shower gel - have two left in my stash but WNBA there are other scents I prefer.
Mini Batiste dry shampoo - WNBA - I buy this every now and again as everyone seems to be a fan but I just cannot get it to work for me. It just seems to make my head itchy like a dog with fleas.

To the ladies who recommended the tubing mascara Clinique lash power - I tried it today and it may be my new HG. Its not as 'wet' as the Blinc I was using and seems to add much needed volume. So a huge THANKYOU as I would never have picked it up without this thread as I didnt realise it was a tube mascara and normal mascaras dont seem to work for me.
    No more buying toiletries
  • Two more UUs BS Coconut shower cream, WBA lasted ages and so creamy and Timotei vivid colour shampoo WBA glad the new formula didnt ruin the product as it sometimes does.
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales
  • I have three UUs today:

Yves Rocher serum vegetal3 dazlling cream 1ml sample
L'oreal revitalift repair 10 bb cream medium 1ml sample
Body shop cranberry joy shower gel 250ml

The Yves Rocher serum/cream arrived today. It sank in nicely but my skin is so dehydrated at the moment I could do with more moisturiser just 6 hours later. It is also called 'dazzling cream' and after my bath I realised why; it's just light reflective. So my skin wasn't as dewy as I thought, it was tricked with shimmer cream! Nothing special so WNB.

L'oreal revitalift; this is not a UU but a presumed TA, as I haven't been able to find this since we moved house a few months back. In any event it was too dark for me.

BS Cranberry Joy; from my Xmas 2011 stash. I've been using this for ages in the shower and finally used up the last 30ml or so in my bath tonight. I actually preferred this as a bath bubble than as a shower gel as I could smell the scent more clearly and it bubbled up well. Not a particular lovely or lasting scent but was v cheap in the sale. Overall WNBA.
  • UU Maybelline Illegal Lengths Mascara WBA this was good, did make my lashes look long but it did clump a bit towards its end of life.

In Percy & Reed hair oil
  • I just used up the last of one of my skin care lotion.
I think my skin care lotion & moisturizer would only really be the INs i myself will buy during this challenge, because i need it for my skin problems & it does the trick.

My own experience of a Lush store (:rotfl: I mistyped that as Lust initially) is Chester as that's the only one around here. I've never seen any leaflets in there and the sales assistants will generally leave you alone with a polite I'm just browsing. Obviously Chester is also quite a famous race venue and some fabulous days out there I have had, again they will do great business no doubt from said racegoers many of whom will stay over in the city centre. To be honest I've never actually bought anything out of the shop, only online in the past, as I'm always a bit overwhelmed, it tends to be very busy and as some have commented the scent of all the various goodies can be a bit overpowering - very strong just walking past in the street!

I really like Chester Lush, used to go there a lot as a student and the staff were lovely. Even applied for a job there but didn't get an interview (:(). I don't recall ever having leaflets forced on me there.

Lush contacted me on Facebook with an email address to send my comments on to, which I've now done. :)

A UU today - No7 Protect & Perfect day cream which came from a buddy swap last year. Nice enough but felt a bit 'tacky' to me, so won't be swapping my beloved L'Occitane Angelica cream for it just yet. :)

TSV stands for Today's Special Value and is the offer of the day on QVC - it isn't always beauty related but when it is they can be very good sets.
