No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in March
Comments
-
I have been trying to follow along this week but I have been having a nightmare time at work just now. Which has led to a rather high number of INs which I was planning to purchase just not all at once!
L’Oreal True Match Foundation
L’Oreal Highlighting Concealer
L’Oreal Anti Redness Primer
Too Faced Eye Insurance
On the Lush subject, I have never been a fan and I have had my eyes opened to some of their "activities" on this thread.

I filled my basket right up in Lush today.....and left it on the counter, and left (having let the girl start to ring it all in) telling them that actually,as I had just seen their ridiculous campaign I wouldnt be patronising their shop ever again....
Being good for this thread, or making a tiny stand.... you decide....
Two INs. My matching shampoos & conditioners are virtually UU'ed, so Avon Advance Moroccan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner.
Some nice goodies in the latest brochure, inc. some real favourites at half-price OR LESS. Bang goes the No Spends.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -

You made me grin at half six in the morning, no mean feat! Excellent :dance:0 -
Have a uu today
Superdrug Coconut and Shea butter body butter - I WBA as this is a good price, is easy to apply and has a nice fragrance.
I was supposed to be finishing off a Day Spa Rose geranium body lotion but decided to finish the superdrug body butter up first as the weather is still so cold. Am now moving onto the rose geranium which has the most annoying pump, the pump bit is too short so you can't get your hand under easily and everything gets messy.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Hah! Hilarious, nice one
I've had a response from Lush, with an apology and an offer of a free bath product. Little DD does love a bubbly bath so she'll enjoy it.
I've discovered since yesterday that I have a sore, itchy patch at the nape of my neck - husband tells me it is red and scabby (lovely) and it hurts a bit too. I'm guessing it could be from a shampoo, I've just started using the Boots red hair one. Should I stop using it? How do I get rid of this patch? I've never had something like this before and it's very sore."Why, this is hell, nor am I out of it."0 -

Some bubbles for DD sounds good, but the rash doesn't:(
I would stop using the shampoo, call into local chemist/B**ts and ask to see the pharmacist, hopefully they will suggest something suitable, perhaps a 1% Hydrocortisone cream, this has restrictions on use, but should sort it out pretty quickly, better if someone sees it, otherwise you could try several products before you find one that works for you. You could try the shampoo again a few weeks after your neck is healed, but be careful not to get it on your face or near your eyes. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. I had something similar a while back with a Lee Stafford shampoo that was meant to make your hair grow quicker (?!) Goodness knows what was in it but I ended up with raised sore lumps around my hairline after a few uses, stopped using it and they disappeared after a few more days. Took back to Boots for a refund. Never had any problems with any other shampoos but my skin can be quite sensitive and also doesn't like the odd hair colourant.0 -
I havent posted for a while so I have a fair amount of UUs:
Catwalk by TiGi Curlesque Strong Mousse -I won this in a competition, but I dont really use a lot of mousse so WNBA
Batiste Dry Shampoo - WNBA as I only need this when I straighten my hair and I dont do that very often
Organix brazilian keratin therapy shampoo and conditioner - this is sulphate free so WBA
Steamcream - from a beauty box, WNBA as expensive but I have about 3 more in the stash. Its a nice product.
S&G Heel Genius - WNBA as do not need a separate moisturiser for feet
Travel Size Kiehls Creme de Corp - WBA but only when I have used the rest of my stash as it is expensive
Skin Blossom reviving Eye Cream - WNBA
Dr Nick Lowe cooling menthol facial scrub - its ok but nothing special so WNBA
Clinique even better dark spot corrector - this didn't work so WNBA as expensive
Lavanila - Deodorant stick - bought in states so would buy again when I go back as its sulphate and paraben free
Jurlique herbal recovery gel - WNBA as expensive and does not do anything for my skin
5 travel size moisturisers and scrubs either from hotels or to test - WNBA
5 sachets of various products - WNBA
10 travel size products from beauty boxes - WNBA
1 box of stick on false nails - WBA
5 lip balms - WNBA
1 face mask - WNBA
1 max factor nail polish - wnba
5 lip glosses - WNBA
1 bath oil - wnba
if my calculations are correct thats 46 UU. Sadly I have got 100s of products left to use, but I do enjoy using them. I just need to stop buying more than I need.
Gonna try and use up some of my stash of samples this week. have a great weekend everyone
Oh nearly forgot I have one TA:
AEOS Organic Volumising Mascara - I received this to test and it just didn't work for me I have short eyelashes that need all the help that I can give them and this product looked like I wasn't wearing any mascara at all so utterly pointless which is why I am throwing it away.:(Plans for 2017:Use up 150 make up and toiletries products 0/150)Lose weight - target 28lbs :eek:Competition wins 2017 - Dermo28 Youthmas Skincare Set :j0 -
Been busy but have several UU's.
BS banana shampoo WNBA as I hate the smell.
4 bath bombs (2 lush, 2 other) WNBA as I am not allowed I need to use up not buy anymore.
BS spa wisdom hand and foot lotion WNBA I have other hand creams I prefer and the container was a pain to open and close, I have been using it as a body lotion.
2 products from birch box - binned really did not like the smell or ingredients.
REN frankincense night cream 15ml sample WNBA liked the product but could not stand the smell
REN T-zone day fluid 5ml sample WBA
Wei white lotion eye cream 2 ml sample WNBA very expensive to buy and did not see and reduction in fine lines around eyes.
Will only count this as 8 as the birch box arrived today so the outs have not been declared as ins.
IN's
4 products from birch box.
I have found a box under the bed full of make up mostly untouched so what I thought was a reasonable ammount of make up is probably now too much.
Amarya box has ended and I have unsubscribed from birch box so I am making progress so there will only be 2 beauty boxes next month and Glossy is free as I have redeemed my glossydots.0
