  • Happy weekend everyone!

Just caught up with the thread and have some OUTs to report:

Bare Minerals mineral veil - WBA HG product to go with my HG foundation. Have several 2g pots in my stash to UU first though before making a purchase

Simple eye make up remover - WBA - I have discovered some great eye make up removers from the High Street being on this thread. When my stash is gone I will no longer be buying premium eye make up removers.

Bare Minerals well rested - WBA this is great for under eye concealing. Have at least one more pot in the stash though and a little goes a long way so no need to buy again in the very near future.

Good to have some make up OUTs as they tend to be LHJs

I'm declaring 2 more INS from my birchbox (25g RMK cleanser, plus a Sanctuary 2 step face mask (single use)), I threw away the body lotion sample as didn't like the ingredients so definitely not counting that.

2UU an Alison Clarke body butter (still have one unopened). It smells lovely, and is very moisturising. Also the nail polish from my Amarya box.

Using up an old body lotion (the tub seems unending) I'm not so keen on on my feet as an intensive overnight treatment.

I painted my nails with Goya Gie Gie nail colour, messed it up, so stuck a layer of blue Rimmel glitter polish on top to hide it. Looks ok for a botch job. :D
New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!

Thanks for the shampoo tips moneyless mac and Kadison I will pick up some sea salt when I'm next at the supermarket, also had someone suggest cider vinegar which could be worth a go! I tried using two different shampoos, which helped a bit but not completely.

I have been really naughty and have to admit to 7 INs, and I didn't need a single one of them.

Schwarzkopf berry flavoured conditioner (don't like the smell of the current one)

I went to Body shop to use their £3 off code and bought the following:
Earth Lovers sulfate free, fragrance free body wash
Sweet lemon beautifying oil (half price sale today only)
Vitamin C skin reviver (My HG)
    Vitamin C microdermabrasion face scrub
    Vitamin C Eye reviver duo
    Vitamin C Energising Face Spritz

The Vit C stuff came in a goody bag, which is why there are 4 things! I wanted to try the eye reviver (£12), and am getting low on skin reviver (£14), but spotted a goody bag with 4 items for £25. So really I saved £1 and got 2 free items, which I can't shake a stick at :rotfl: I do like the vitamin C stuff, but am annoyed at bringing in so much stuff, as my toiletries are already taking over all my free surface space.

Sounds like you got some bargains there mcculloch! I haven't been into TBS yet, thinking I might do tomorrow and use the free £3!

Being nosy, I was wondering what people do with regards to moisturising after bath/shower? I am lazy and normally only moisturise my face/neck, hands and legs (they get dry from shaving). I rarely moisturise anywhere else - sometimes my feet. Do people who moisturise all over notice a big difference to the softness of their skin?

My skin is not very dry but I am thinking I will maybe start moisturising all over to use products up! Would need to allow more time to get ready though for both the moisturising and so the moisturiser can sink in.

I use a body butter or lotion all over almost everyday and it makes a real difference to the firmness of my skin which I put down to massaging it in.

    Have two ins

Barry M Hi Shine gel nail polish in Pomegranate.

    MUA mosaic bronzer in Sunshine.

    Enjoy your Saturday everyone.

I will have to give it a go - might be good for my cellulite :T

Ah I love the Barry M in Pomegranate - saw a blog review and it looks amazing. On my list to purchase!

MrM bought me yesterday's OPI TSV in the end. It was hard work - I had to nag a lot. x Should have stayed away from Sally's yesterday. Going in there and looking at the new colours was not a good idea.

That sounds like gorgeous combo. I hadn't thought of putting polka.com onto a nude colour. Will try this when I get mine.

Lucky you That TSV looked wonderful - ive just purchased the Oz minis off buyapowa as I dont get to use nail polish as often as I would like. The polka.com looks fantastic over the lilac from the Euro collection.
Would give the Zoya Jacqueline a miss as its very streaky - I dont seem to have any success with Zoya polishes which is a shame as I love some of the colours.
    No more buying toiletries

I've body brushed for years, which gave me very soft skin, though I think I was lucky enough to inherit that anyway. I do a top to toe moisturise with either a lotion, butter or oil 3-4 x a week, that's after every shower. As I mentioned a while ago, a daily shower just gives me the sensation of moisturiser being washed off.

My feet/lower legs are the one body area that does get moisturised every day as I've had real problems with hard skin in the past. I have no problems now. I don't use a hand cream as they get enough moisturiser rubbing in face and feet creams daily.

I have very dry skin that is prone to keratosis pilaris. I am terrible at remembering to moisturise and hate the sticky feeling, but when I do remember to moisturise more than once a week, with the regular scrubbing I have from a japanese washcloth, the condition is so much better and my skin glows.

I have one small UU of an aromatherapy fragrance oil 3ml. I have had this so any years it's awful, it's a sainsburys citrussy fragrance oil that is currently in my aromastone. WBA if it was even still sold which I highly doubt.

Ah, you learn something every day, the cause of, and proper name for, "chicken skin". Thank you Roguey. I've not been affected by that since I body-brushed, so the Japanese washcloth probably works really well for it too.
