One IN:
Origins GinZing. its my HG and I got a £10 voucher for my birthday and I'm at the bottom of the current one so I though I may as well replace it now. got £2 worth of points too
Major NPI though, DH had given me £60 to get the Dior Cherie Bow palette, I was in boots, looked at it they had it in stock then at the final "thats £59!" i just couldn't do it, despite the sales girls protestations that it was a limited edition, not many left etc etc. it just seemed a ridiculous amount to spend on so little actual product! Got 3 books, posh bourbon from Harvey Nicks and a Moomins candle holder instead!0 -

Well resisted evilsquid1603! I have just looked it up - it is gorgeous but like you say, not much product for the amount of money. Sounds like you got yourself some other lovely things instead.
By the way, thanks again to whoever recommended The Fragrant Pharmacy book on here - I love it0 -
Sounds like you got some bargains there mcculloch! I haven't been into TBS yet, thinking I might do tomorrow and use the free £3!
I've been very envious listening to the items people have got from the BS. When does it end? I might try on Monday when I'm at work.:)Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
To be fair, Body Shop are probably doing really well from this promotion. I was hoping to get something with the code, and couldn't decide whether to try something new or get money off something needed. I ended up buying £35 worth of stuff, but then I got £3 off and used my Body Shop card for the rest of it, so I spent £28 in total. With the amount I got, I almost feel like I robbed them somehow, but I'm sure they still had a lovely mark up on everything!0

My head isn't much better today, still sore. I went into Boots and picked up a bottle of E45 shampoo. Just washed my hair with it so we'll see how we go. Will pick up some hydrocortisone cream if there's no sign of improvement in the morning.
I have another UU but will post about it some other time. I too use moisturiser on my body every time I shower, and although it smells nice my makes my skin soft, would love for it to get firmer aswell."Why, this is hell, nor am I out of it."0 -

Being nosy, I was wondering what people do with regards to moisturising after bath/shower? I am lazy and normally only moisturise my face/neck, hands and legs (they get dry from shaving). I rarely moisturise anywhere else - sometimes my feet. Do people who moisturise all over notice a big difference to the softness of their skin?
My skin is not very dry but I am thinking I will maybe start moisturising all over to use products up! Would need to allow more time to get ready though for both the moisturising and so the moisturiser can sink in.
I try to make sure to moisturise after every shower, but if I cba then I use my fail-safe baby oil, it's great for doing your back as I just get out of the shower dripping wet and squeeze some across my back and it moisturises as it falls, then I put it all over my body and stand there for a few minutes letting it sink in before drying off. If I do that I do still put body butter on my lower legs as they are very dry.minicooper272 wrote: »Thanks for the shampoo tips moneyless mac and Kadison I will pick up some sea salt when I'm next at the supermarket, also had someone suggest cider vinegar which could be worth a go! I tried using two different shampoos, which helped a bit but not completely.
I have been really naughty and have to admit to 7 INs, and I didn't need a single one of them.
Schwarzkopf berry flavoured conditioner (don't like the smell of the current one)
I went to Body shop to use their £3 off code and bought the following:
Earth Lovers sulfate free, fragrance free body wash
Sweet lemon beautifying oil (half price sale today only)
Vitamin C skin reviver (My HG)
Vitamin C microdermabrasion face scrub
Vitamin C Eye reviver duo
Vitamin C Energising Face Spritz
The Vit C stuff came in a goody bag, which is why there are 4 things! I wanted to try the eye reviver (£12), and am getting low on skin reviver (£14), but spotted a goody bag with 4 items for £25. So really I saved £1 and got 2 free items, which I can't shake a stick at :rotfl: I do like the vitamin C stuff, but am annoyed at bringing in so much stuff, as my toiletries are already taking over all my free surface space.
Make sure you get coarse sea salt and use it with a thickish shampoo or it won't mix in! I am envious of the BS stuff as I LOVE their vitamin C range, please let me know what you think of the face scrub as I will need a new one soon!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

Sure Maximum protection deo - WBA current HG but have more in stash.
30ml La Sultane De Saba body lotion (from Birchbox) WNBA smells like cheap talc and costs a staggering £26.50 for a full size. For £26.50 I want to be wowed or at the very least have a sexy man to rub it in for me!No more buying toiletries0 -

Would give the Zoya Jacqueline a miss as its very streaky - I dont seem to have any success with Zoya polishes which is a shame as I love some of the colours.
I really like a couple of the Oz colours as well - the Theodora one and the new liquid sand one. Let me know what they are like. TBH I've found some OPI nudes a bit streaky to apply.
Concert last night was excellent. Was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Traffic was awful getting back out of Manchester though.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
