I've got 3 INs to decare but were from my monthly Amarya beauty box. A Zoya nail polish, A Green People cleanser, and an Alison Clarke body butter.

I started out with good intentions in this thread but not sure if I'm going to last. :o

    Hi All,

I'm a bit late to the party on the Big Lush Debate but I was reading along with interest on my phone last night and I did go to post this morning but lost the whole blooming thing, most annoying!

My own experience of a Lush store (:rotfl: I mistyped that as Lust initially) is Chester as that's the only one around here. I've never seen any leaflets in there and the sales assistants will generally leave you alone with a polite I'm just browsing. Obviously Chester is also quite a famous race venue and some fabulous days out there I have had, again they will do great business no doubt from said racegoers many of whom will stay over in the city centre. To be honest I've never actually bought anything out of the shop, only online in the past, as I'm always a bit overwhelmed, it tends to be very busy and as some have commented the scent of all the various goodies can be a bit overpowering - very strong just walking past in the street!

I'm shocked by some of the horror stories we've seen on the thread, I don't want my smells serving up with a thick slice of patronisation. I'd like to think I'm old enough and wise enough to form my own opinions on things and it does worry me that some of their younger shoppers particularly may be influenced by what can only be described as their militant edge. I wonder how much of it is for effect as anything else.

Most Lush products I've tried have been nice but quite novelty items such as bath bombs etc, I could certainly live without them all and from what I've read I'm not inclined to spend my hard earned cash there in future!

Challenge wise, I've got some UU to declare and one small IN which I'm totally remorseless about!

UU are Etat Pur Micellar Water - WNBA - Could not get my head round this being a cleanser so basically used it as a toner with a cream cleanser so I guess I was double cleansing. Nothing offensive but nothing standout, don't know what RRP is but have seen bottles on offer for £8/9 on Ebay, wouldn't pay that.

TBS Moringa Shower Gel - WBA - but not for a while, this was a monster 750ml, shower gel was lovely but pump was so poor I'd have still be using this for years if I didn't decant it into smaller easier to use bottles, bargain though, think I got two bottles for £9 in the outlet store on Cheshire Oaks around Nov time.

Dior Equite Makeup Remover - WNBA - was having a bit of a PRCP moment with this which is ridiculous for makeup remover, purely on the basis that was Dior, I'm bad for doing this I get gifted nice thing and then think they're 'too good' to use for everyday normal use but then of course they don't get used. I am getting better though and have just put a Dior concealer into use which is much better than the Bourjois one I had been using and was intending to try and finish first but it was taking forever!! Anyway the makeup remover wasn't all that, scent was a bit overpowering and it wasn't great on mascara, plus points were the nice bottle and the creamy texture.

Sure Clear Aqua Crystal roll-on deo - WBA but not in this particular fragrance, Sure is my HG deo but I prefer the pink one to this which smells a little masculine, still very effective though.

My one IN I've hunted down over the last few days, another Percy & Reed No Oil Oil free with Glamour, was giving up hope of finding one and thought I might have to resort to Ebay even though it annoys me that people clearly just buy the freebies up and then inflate the prices which I think is a bit mean! Found a solitary bottle left in M&S earlier, was so pleased! My hair really gets on with this, I tried an experiment of using something different on it a couple of days ago and it definitely wasn't as happy! Yay for Percy & Reed :D Hair heros are hard to come by!!

Trudij I've never thought of it like that before! but that's a very valid point.

All this lush talk, I'm tempted to go visit my local branch this weekend just to see what their latest campaign is. But that would be a waste as I don't intend to buy anything!

I have gotten down to the dregs of a bottle of E-45 shower cream. I'm throwing away the last few days worth though, as it's so difficult to get out of the bottle! WNBA. Didn't have the desired affect, left hands greasy after applying so you couldn't touch your hair afterwards, and the pump was useless.

Hello, I have an IN, went into TBS and used my code from this week's email to get my Elderflower eye gel for £4 instead of £7. It's one thing I don't really have a backlog of so I decided to use it on that instead of getting something I wouldn't use for another year or so lol!

:D you can. The nice american/canadian girl said ours was the only shop where you could - I just wondered if it was a big fat fib :)

I expect she's right, Lush is based in Poole so it would make sense ;)

Finished a bottle of Estee Lauder's Pleasures this morning. I know I've had it for at least three years. Got a few of the gwp size bottles of this in the stash. what I really liked about this one was the bottle. It was the usual bottle but it was pink and floral patterned.

That in a nutshell is my problem. I'm a sucker for pretty packaging.

Oh, and that sales girl in Lush had to be American, 'cause us Canadian can't lie with a straight face. Remember the world thinks we are all polite and meek.

Newspapers have reported Justin Bieber has vowed never to come back to the UK after his recent tour, so we take your apology and return your goods as faulty ;)

Forgiven, since you also gave us the brilliant Stewart Francis!
