Aussie is not sulfate free - I've checked most of the high end shampoos like that (for that price, I thought the they might be) but so far, i've not had much luck with any high street brands (not even lush). Boots do a sulfate free range called Naked (for hair and body) and if you have an a-card, you can get a 25% off voucher from the machines. It's £4 normally. Alternatively you can look in Holland & b's for shampoo (about £5). Dove soap is sulfate free, but their body wash is not.
I've just leaped on the sulfate free wagon to see if it helps me with a skin condition, I'm about 2 weeks converted so not sure about the effects just yet, but I can keep people updated on my successes and failures?
Some of the naked shampoos smell really dodgy, but their jojoba and marshmallow stuff is lovely, and foams like normal shampoo. Hair feels a bit heavy by the end of the day, but i'm weathering it out for a month to see if it's just the change in formula, or if it's permanent. Apparently you can rinse with cider vinegar to help with that.
The shower gels are nice enough, but I use a lot of shower gel, so it can be pricey at £4 a bottle. I'm using soaps on a day-to-day basis, and shower gels for weekends or if I need a pamper boost.0 -

God this reminds me of one of the most embarrassing moments of my life(( I used to work at Millies Cookies/ Baskins & Robbins when I was in highschool, this woman came up and kept pointing at things and asking what they were /how much, I looked at her like she had two heads and pointed out the signs .... she explained she was a Romany gypsy and she was illiterate :eek: I was horrified and sooo embarrased, she was very nice about it though

My skin is normal to dry, and a little sensitive. I probably should start using anti-ageing formulas now I'm heading to 30:(:(
You will find Aldi has changed greatly. The prices are still low but there are no more vast pallets of 5p baked beans and Rola Cola. There is however an excellent range of really top quality products.
Hand on heart, I haven't found a single item that I wouldn't buy again on grounds of quality. That includes all the toiletries.
I admit to bias as DD is employed by them, but I was converted long before she took up her post - some 6 years ago.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -

Oh dear! We assume everyone these days can read and write but it's not always the case, but I expect she had encountered that assumption lots of times before and it sounds like she didn't have a complex about itNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

I would be interested in this as I love the EH moringa balm so this sounds like a steal at £5. Please post to let us all know what it is like as it sounds very MSE.
Hope all the Mums are having a lovely day. I didn't get any stash related goodies as Mr KM refuses to buy anything in the toiletry line because there is so much in the house.
Had a look at the Benefit kits in Boots and they do look fabulous.
Will definitely let you know how the cleansing balm works out. It's been shipped already apparently.
I forgot to mention my Mother's Day gift. Emma got me a lovely new Yankee Candle shade. This one: http://www.yankeedirect.com/product/yankee_candle_etched_butterflies_large_shade/2854/.
The only shade I had otherwise was the Autumn Leaves one which meant I was restricted re: what colour candle I could burn.
Am also going to fess up now. I got drawn in by the TBS body butters for £5.00 offer. With Emma's Love Your Body card they came out at £4.50 each so ordered 2 x plus a Mango gift set for Emma.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Another GWP from Good Housekeeping mag. Balance me hand cream. I love all of the Balance Me range I have used so far and am quite excited to try this. This is the 3rd mag in as many days I have bought just for the freebie. I need to reign this in a bit now.
