No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in March

Just noticed this is half price in Asda right now, it's great as it's talc-free for anyone who has an allergy.
http://beauty.mysupermarket.co.uk/#/Shopping/FindProducts.aspx?Query=johnsons&Store=ASDA&_ffg=Baby_Powder_And_Talc
I can use talc when in make-up but not in body powder, and femfresh is the only other one I know of, but that one is expensive and NEVER on offer! :cool:No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

Hi everyone, hope everyone's well? I've spent most the day catching up with the thread amongst working. Happy birthdays to those who have had birthdays in the last week.
My life seems to be all over the place at the moment; the last two weeks have included more than 50 hours of overtime on top of my normal 35 hour week... as a result I am unpampered, ill, and fairly down and depressed. It's not all doom and gloom though, because it's OH birthday this week and we've both taken the week off from work.
Due to lack of pampering I only have a paltry 3 UUs this week:
2 home made bath bombs. Made from a kit I bought from Hobbycraft, I am already planning to replace the items in this kit to make more once the stash reduces a little more.
Body shop almond hand cream 75ml - bought from BS on part of a deal, i managed to pick this up for 80p. It has been sat on my desk at work for use during long phone calls. I love the smell and it was very moisturising whilst sinking in quickly; I WBA but I have more than 750ml of handcream to use up before I buy anything else.
On the INs list are just two items but a fairly high price!
The first is Molton Brown patchouli and saffron body wash 30ml; free gift in the MB shop when I bought items for a present for someone else.
And....drumroll....
Emma Hardie cleansing balm cleanser 100ml!
I love this so much. It has been a planned IN for quite a while now, despite still having a few things to still use up. I love the smell, it feels beautiful, and tomorrow I plan to use it with the exfoliating seeds my very kind benefactor sent me.
I plan on pampering me a lot more this week, I would like to sort out my work/life balance and so pledge to use up far more of my stash in long hot baths and down time. It has to be a good reason to leave the office on time occasionally.
Hope everyone else is enjoying their pampering and enjoying their weekends.0 -

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TOO DOLLY!
I have three perfume ins from my birthday:
Ghost, ralph loren and...JIMMY CHOOS FLASH! i smelt this in boots the other week and my OH bought me it (must have taken the hint) :j i love the first jimmy choo too but thought this one is a nice change.
Im visiting my mum n dad so havent really seen anyone...and my bro left my present at his so he is bringing it today. No idea what other presents await me back home from the OHs family.
In regards to the itchy scalps...alot of shampoo and conditioner flare up my psoriasis. The only one that doesnt is an organic one i bought off an ebay shop for just under four quid each. It is green so a little off putting lol but it has soothing effect on my scalp which feels amazing. I will buying some once ive gone through others in my stash. Will put a link up later. Im currently using naked bounce for curls and it isnt too bad.
Everyone is loving lush. I kinda went off lush because a lot of things dont seem to last long for the price. The only thing i liked were a couple of the face soaps. I might start venturing in there again shortly.........making sure i take cash so i cant overspend :rotfl:
Almost forgot a ga
A tube of cheap toothpaste to my parents.
We need sensitive stuff otherwise we cant eat ice cream :rotfl:
Hope all you mums are spoilt rotten!

Just caught up after a turbulent day at work yesterday that was just horrendous and left me reeling last night, hate that I let work worries encroach on my weekend but I'm a terrible one for picking things to pieces, especially when I'm tired! Feeling much better today though
To those who have a birthday  and to all the mums I hope you have a lovely pampered day tomorrow (Sanctuary box for my Mum, thank you Boots 75% sale)
Our new Boots is really quite disappointing! Which is probably just as well as its literally on my doorstep! No ACM and no higher end stuff like Clinique, Estee Lauder etc, in fact no beauty counter to speak of. More perfume than the old store for sure but no Chanel which is my favourite. Considering its a bigger store, its difficult to see what they've done with the extra space, only additional makeup I noticed was Models Own (spied some fab glittery polishes) and S&G. The layout and design of some of the other shops on the park like M&S and River Island is really welcoming and pleasant whereas Boots is just like a big warehouse. Could have done so much better.... Will most likely save me some money though so shouldn't grumble!!
Had a UU this morning, almost a surprise as I never see this one coming - Bastiste Deep & Dark Brown Dry Shampoo - HG, will replace later, most probably in the Boots I've just used a paragraph running down
Also must report that I'm really quite impressed with the Percy & Reed No Oil Oil that was free with Glamour, its much better suited to my hair than the L'Oreal one, doesn't leave my hair feeling at all greasy and I don't need anything to finish it like I usually do i.e a drop of serum. May stock up on another while its such a bargain, even though the bottle will last ages as I only need a tiny bit. Also loving the Garnier Moisture Match, they're giving free samples away via their Facebook page if anyone fancies it, I've got the Protect & Glow and it is really lovely, so pleased with it for such a bargain price. Could be a HG I think.
I've been to work and the gym today so feeling rather :A, looking forward to a quiet night in and some yummy looking pasta for tea from M&S with a nice glass of wine or two
I really loke the Percy & Reed oil too, I have had more compliments on my hair in the last few days than I can ever remember before. I have been looking for another one with Glamour but can only find the other items and this is £14 RRP for 60ml although I did find it for £11.90 but still alot more than 2 copies of Glamour.I am fairly pale skinned - not really pale, think with yellowy undertones, if that makes sense?! I think I will go and visit a counter and try a few things out.
Ooh maybe I will also go and try the L'oreal out.
Happy birthday to you Dolly and to Happy Torty. Hope you are both having lovely days.
Dolly - what lovely gifts! I would be interested to know what the Benefit world famous neutrals palettes are like. I have looked at them online and thought they looked great. I do love Benefit.
Started to look at higher end make up products recently after reading many a beauty blog. Need to invest in some Mac products!
I have tried out the Easiest nudes ever yesterday and it was lovely, I adore the creasless cream shadows and the powders went on beautifully too.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

(I dropped big hints for one of these and can't believe I got both), they are gorgeous and I will be trying one out when I finally stop drinking coffee and get organised.
I also got a massive box of Thontons, a massive box of Ferrero and a gorgeous Emma Bridgewater mug.
I also bought for myself the LIB session school box using their 20% off code and added some other bits in also with 20% off and a free gift, all as follows:
Pixi sheer tint cheek gel
Daniel Sandler eyeliner
Vintage cosmetics co eyeshadow brush
Bella Pierre eyeshadow
Inika foundation
Benefit they're real
Nails Inc Porchester Square
Nicky Clarke Instant Calmer
Jo Hansford Hair Masque
Nspa shower mousse - free gift
Oh dear:o
You got some gorgeous gifts there. I had the QVC OPI kit and have used up 2 x of the colours and rebought them - DPMB and NNOF. I wasn't overly keen on the other colours but have used up the top coat and avoplex out of the kit as well.
Those Benefit eye kits look gorgeous too. Was not aware of these until you posted. Have just had a look at them on boots.com. Am happy that the buy 2 products get 750 AP is online only as I'm going shopping shortly with Emma and think I would have weakened in Boots otherwise.Painted nails with Nails Inc. Porchester Square which I finally acquired at a good price. It is lovely, I have half a dozen Nude polishes and there are subtle differences between them and I enjoy them all. (Should add NP is a bit of a hobby for me and I have "rather a lot", but I don't buy magazines and cannot tolerate alchohol, so no guilt here).
I too have a thing for neutral nail colours. I'm going to get a couple of the new neutrals by OPI when I see them. I still think that LD Supermodel is one of my top faves though.
Had to cut all my nails down last night as a couple of them broke. Have repainted them today with OPI Grand Canyon Sunset. This was the first colour I ever bought from OPI.
Went into Boots yesterday and bought Emma a Philosophy Melon Daiquiri lip gloss to say well done for an excellent report. I got her the shower gel for Christmas and she adores the smell (though she's saving it to use in the Summer). I was in the Boots at Crown Point Denton and they still have Christmas fragranced shower gels for half price. Didn't buy any more though. The Candy Cane one that I got for Christmas needs to be cut open now as the bottle has squashed in on itself and it's difficult to get the product out.
My Decleor Herbal and Clay mask arrived yesterday too.
2 more UUs:-
Sanex deodorant. WNBA. Was very wet. Am now using a Mitchum for men deodorant stick that I bought in error but no-one else was going to use it so waste not want not.
TBS 200ml Papaya body butter WBA. Lovely smell.
Finally, I was reading about the new Elemis cleansing balm on ST.com yesterday and someone posted a link to an Ebay seller who makes natural skincare. She was really raving about the cleansing balm from this lady as it's only £5. for 100ml. I have ordered one for Emma to try and will gladly let you all know what it's like if anyone is interested.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
